You did good for your first time. I'm not sure where the top 2 guys were gaining time. I think mid 38's will do good here but it's still early in the week so who knows. I found being in the right gear makes a big difference in these cars.

@brokenamotorsports ha ha I had no choice as my instructor wanted me to do it with my Porsche 944TS track cars I actually got pretty good at it, but the 944's are set up for toe & heel or what some call rev matching

I drive cars like a stock car. I use the paddles but blip on my own. I'm in the habit of doing it that I do it on cars that don't I need to.

@brokenamotorsports does autoblip affect your lap times?

Any tool you use does. I try to stick to anti stall clutch. Some cars I have to use auto clutch even though I try to shift in my own. The auto clutch helps me from missing a shift. Mainly use that for H pattern cars. There's not many of those anymore.

I'm glad it helped. I don't do many tutorial videos but sometimes a subject comes up on my discord and it gives me an idea for one.

You raced him like he raced everybody else. He suffers from iRating denial. He thinks that he should get a pass since he was the #1. I think the way guys race these cars, it makes contact nearly unavoidable.

The sound gets to me. Sounds like a bunch of bumble bees.

Speed will come with practice. I use anti-stall clutch and blip myself. That takes practice but I had to learn when driving Nascar on road courses. You can use the auto blip when down shifting as you practice to blip on your own. Most road cars don't need to blip but others do. I tend to blip in everything whether I need to or not. If you need more help, you can always join the discord.

It can be. I prefer the 1600 over the Vee.

@@brokenamotorsportsI ended up doing 2 races today. I came in 3rd while qualifying 2nd. I also came in 1st while qualifying 1st. My fastest lap is 17.075. I also got promoted into D class I’m having a blast with this game.

@bowmanfan4851 i bought an ibuypower 4 years ago. I've since replaced the motherboard, cpu, and memory. Currently I have the following. Motherboard - MSI Z790 gaming plus. CPU - i5-13600k 32 gb memory 4070 gpu

The Alienware has B760 b5 motherboard CPU- intel I7 14700F Graphics 4060 Niveda Gpu video memory 8 I believe that should be good enough to run the sim at really high graphics before

Yes. An H pattern would be cool but I can't justify the expense since so few cars use it anymore. It would just collect dust in my case since I drive a lot of different things.

It's a regular season schedule but I don't think it's as popular as it once was. When I first ran it, it would split. I've tried to run it 3 weeks this season so far and only 2 races made and they didn't split. I do know it's more of a European series as it's more popular in those times than it is in the states. It's a D class series so as long as you have a Rookie License 4.0 or higher you can run it. As for coming back, iRacing is having their Black Friday sale for renewing and returning customers.

Thanks, I'm not sure how many people watch the wrecks and results but I always try to comment on what they could have done different as a way to help anybody who's having the same issues.

@@brokenamotorsports I watch them, it’s a good way to try improve I’m not very good at operating anything other than basic controls when driving. Im still very primitive with replays, you showing that at the end saves me a lot of time and I learn a lot from it, cheers

True. I've had some good races in week 13. This just seemed excessive for the SOF. Like I said, hopefully the official's aren't a wreckfest but i wouldn't be surprised.

I appreciate you reaching out. I'll take some of the blame. I hit the turtle on exit the lap or two before and I was trying to setup a good exit. I normally tap the brake on that right hander but I may have showed down to much. On to the next one.
