The sunlight is a right pain for the Nextbase dash cam. Have a UV filter on there and that cuts down dash reflections but it's a difficult one with such continual changing surroundings. Also play havoc with the autofocus with the branches flashing by.

I run Falcon Wildpeak AT3's They are 245 65 R17. I have 40/50 lift kit fitted and 30mm spacers. Also have Fuel tank Guard and front bash plate.

Not too bad on my player but sometimes the branches and undergrowth play havoc with the auto focus and that can mess things up a bit.

Very! The guy in the D3 had to reverse out. Part of a fantastic day though.

This was No: 53 off the production line. First fifty were for the dealerships and the next few were press release cars.

Only a few on the Mendip's but plenty within a 15 mile radius.

Gone beyond worrying about that Garrie.

Started at Manningford Bohune and headed South on a byway then followed our noses but using Trailwise 2 to check the byways didn't have any seasonal restrictions on them. Ended up in the Larkhill area.

Are you a member of the FB group "Freelander 2 Off Road Group" well worth joining. I have a 2'' lift kit and snorkel fitted so the ford was no problem.

​@@FreelanderFun No my car is just a road car - 2014 Metropolice the latest I could get before the Discovery sport. I have driven in ice and snow, floods and 4 Land Rover 'off road' courses but that's as far as I go.

Glad you like your Surf. I like the comfort and luxury that the Freelander offers and happily drive all over Europe in her, something I wouldn't want to do in a Surf but it's everyone to their own.

Yes dude but a freelander 2 is far from the most capable land rover. Defenders and range rovers are much better offroad. Altho, they seemed to do decent here.

nahh i just turning my truck into a rally car instead ditched 4wd saved over 200kg stripped more weight out down to 1650kg and built 500bhp 750ftlb of torque 6 cyl diesel for it with a hundred shot of nitrous too
