Why does it need to make a profit? Let forests be.
Join the NGO or BASC. if you dont have an organisation representing you in Parliament then you have no voice whatsoever.
chuck the gun in a box mark as gift and ship it. lol
I saw the 4XOverland review... So... Probably not.
Was it greener or pape who invented the choke?
Love the channel but needed to pick you up on an error. External and extended chokes are two very different things. The chokes shown on the Beretta are internal extended chokes. The last time i saw external chokes were on semi-automatic and pump actioned shotguns such as those made buy Breda, Fabarm etc decades ago ie. chokes tubes that screwed onto the outside of the barrel.
Where can I buy this Shotuun Dibictionary?
AI still struggles with generating text on pictures, as seen on the thumbnail...
I mean let's be clear though. Beaver dams are also very good for flooding. Alaska isn't the best place to understand the importance of beaver habitat. Look at it states that don't have them. Because, as they're starting to bounce back, they are solving some of the flooding problems. And they are also solving some of the water shortage problems. And I know that there has been flooding issues in recent years in the United Kingdom. The reality is they can help solve that, however, they could make it worse in the short-term in places. So what you do then is move them along (trap and release)
Beaver Bombers.......still laughing about that one! Great podcast both of you, please do some more!
Very interesting. Thanks for making the effort.
Have you told anybody you're doing a podcast again? Is this available elsewhere? I'm really enjoying this. I disagree very much. Not entirely but occasionally. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy it. I'm not surprised by your American friend, it depends on the state. Each state is like it's having country with its own little views. Here in Kentucky- we have restored the elk pop population, we have bobcat, we are restoring our streams slowly but surely hopefully we can get the brook trout the size of Maine's soon. We have restored the black bear, technically we're still restoring. But they're just showing up in Western Kentucky now. Hopefully the Red Wolf returns, but that would require the federal government actually funding something that isn't military. Cougar gets spotted occasionally, officially we don't have them. But everybody knows we do, Even one of our prominent biologist, mcgregor, has said we have a small population. Of course we restored the turkey population. Kentucky is one of the biggest successes of that. Know everyone has done well. Believe it or not, my grandfather rarely saw turkey when he was the boy, market hunting got them. I see them every spring, by the dozens. Quail are bouncing back (Urban development in the '80s and '90s). You have to learn to market wildlife projects. You have to make the bugs cute, Make a little cartoon version of them and market them towards people's children, and people will protect what their children love. You also have to market savings something cuddly, by saving other things. So if you need a particular insect or something, market it as the "_something_ habitat restoration program" and show pictures of cuddly things. And actually no, One way you could bring back the Lynx and not have to deal with this is a grant for Farmers to have herd protection dogs. You wouldn't need any of the Turkish dogs that American ranchers use out west. Your particular threats would be smaller, so you wouldn't need such rough and tumble dogs. A great Pyrenees would do the job really well. Remember America's dealt with this stuff already for a while. You guys need to be looking to see some of the things we did. That's not to say the habitats are the same, but yes, there needs to be a grant for herd protection dogs if you bring back the lynx. You just won't have lynx attacks on sheep. But you're completely right when you say that you have to lay a foundation a first.
One can buy a house for the price of that gun
So, gun approved of by Ed, the spectacles by the other Ed?
I really enjoyed this. I disagree with most of it, but enjoyed it. Actually I listen to this twice. In America we have the ability to travel all navigable water. It only really causes trouble with gentrifiers, to move from the cities and don't understand the people have rights to travel up the water. They, angry and call the cops, and the cops get angry yell at them. We have vast tracks in public land, hunting isn't supposed to be easy. Initiate orange laws, to protect people. Extend seasons if necessary. At the beginning you touched on it though I don't know if you knew it. And you also did touch on it in your pump shotgun video. What is missing from hunting in the United Kingdom and why it's looked down on is because it's not something the common man does. And if you want to protect it, you protect it with the common Man. By making it available to them. By making the right access available. And I personally, as is typical for an American, believe it a right with or without the law. So it seems to me that many British people; the landed mostly. Want to have their cake and eat it too. Which isn't all that surprising. If you want people to understand wildlife they need to be exposed to it. If you want people to support the traditional acts of hunting, they need to be engaged in it. Britain's a small country, but you know enough to know that every state is basically its own country. There are other states that have high populations and have dealt with these issues. This is a solved problem. Licenses, quotas, quota raffles, land, science, orange laws, seasons, rights.
My favorite gun would be my great grandfather gun 🤔 he served in ww2 so he had the spring field 300 and then he had the Winchester 1897 it’s a 12 gauge 🤠 and I loved those two guns 👍🏼
I have one I also got the MB 500 and 590 I recommend the 500 and 590
Totally over thinking the licence fee increase - the thought process behind it was most people in the this country don’t understand shooting and don’t like guns so saying we’re going to tax firearms owners more is a crowd pleaser.
Right to roam effects non-landowners more than it does landowners because there are more of them. Exposure to nature is the biggest pusher for respect for the environment around them. There should of course be ways to hold people accountable for damage but any restrictions to right to roam should be extremely considered and very light.
I can't see or edit my original post/rant. But in much nicer terms, too many will abuse the "right" regardless of whether it was intentional or not. The countryside and those living in it and taking care of it will be much worse for it. Shouldn't the government spend some of the VAT money to buy up land as it becomes available and make public spaces to be roamed?
The labour firearms licensing charge is ridiculous I’ve posted about this a bit, taxing a law abiding citizens hobby to pay for illegal knife crime 🤷♂️ Disgusting
Its unfortunately disheartening how painfully ignorant all of the parties are of the idea of effective and safe ownership and use of firearms, none of the major parties actually represent a good long term option. As much as I wanted to vote Labour this election, this new addition of raising the cost of licensing for the sole purpose of generating revenue to fund a completely unrelated issue when firearms licensing teams are struggling already is a dealbreaker for me, why is it that when we get some opportunity to improve and better fund these critical services all the money gets side tracked, leaving us worse off and the struggling services no better?
Tax tobacco and alcohol. Much more money to be gained there.
@@danhill6333 vastly more,.
Thanks for putting this together Jonny, definitely some food for thought. I think the idea of the WhatsApp groups for the raising of issues and concerns in an effective way could be fantastic for the community. Ultimately what will be will be, but I think it's important for everyone to get engaged and promote the sports and activities that they love
Beautiful 👍🏽
Why do you need all that??!? Wait are you after Bigfoot???
None of these look like £800 guns?
But what if..... Very wide face and very wide shoulders... And no neck... No neck at all...
I've always been more of a miroku person, but it's impossible to look at some of berettas nice engraving without getting envious.
Very interesting to get a full breakdown and explanation 👏🏻 can’t wait for the next instalment cheers JC 👍🏼
Agreed! This is a great addition to the channel (!)
Pieces of art
Very pretty, but it must be nice to have more money than you know what to do with
Is this place open to the public?
Did I hear you right? You have too many over unders. Really? LOL.
Thank you so much for showing the in-depth coverage on Simon's Pigeon gun. That kind of thing is absolutely a dream gun for me, and I really hope to find one myself.
When you where speaking about over places having more freedom than the UK i absolutely loved the way you said FREEDOM
Johnny needs some work on his ejected shell technique!😂
Love mine too :)
Love my gti great gun 👍
That AYA 26" screams grouse gun for the Midwest USA. Wonderful episode as usual!
Buy the citori 28 ga i would in a heartbeat😮
I enjoyed that, thanks!
About to pick up my first gun from the main sale tomorrow after having it imported to the USA, another one next month and have one from the sealed bid still on the way. These videos cost me a lot of money! Fortunately I had a few leave the safe that will pay for these, and make room. Still I’m nervous about the next auction for sure.😅
I paid $1000 for my 28g cased hardened H&R small-bore doublehammer gun. Think I got a steal of a deal.
Thankfully you didn’t advertise the brownings I wanted 🎉 🤙
like i have said b4 im not a shooter .but that was good . highlighting the art of the gunsmith. keep em coming.
Have had a few Famars...in fact there was one of `mine` in last auction!! from years gone by.....
Sensacional exposición. Se respira calidad y buen gusto en todas las armas. Lástima que en España no haya armerías asi.
Holts charge 25% commission to both buyer and seller. Plus VAT. So if a gun sells for £1000 on the hammer, the buyer pays £1250, the seller gets £750 and Holt trousers £500. Which buys a lot of pink cords and pomade.
And they have the buyers and the guns. Great marketplace.
@@ClarkeKent777 Indeed. But it's expensive and not without its risks. Caveat emptor..
There some Absolute stunning guns there. In some way I wished I had got my AYA sxs from there, but I felt I need to support my local gun shop. But I 100 % going to the next one just to see what there and May upgrade!! Great editing and content as alway Guys 👍.
Nicely edited little compilation 👍
