Tyler's story
Tyler's fair well journey. My niece Tyler battled ovarian cancer for years. She will forever be missed but her memories live on.
It is with great sorrow that we share the news of the passing of Tyler L. Turner (Fisher). Tyler went to be with her lord and savior on Sunday September 15, 2024. Tyler was born July 5, 1992, to Kimberly S. Amos and Jason E. Fisher. She was a 2011 graduate of Parkersburg High School. Tyler married her soul mate Shelby Turner on May 31, 2015. Tyler gave birth to her absolute best friend Edward Dean Turner on June 9, 2019.
For those who did not know Tyler, I would say you missed one of the good ones.
Tyler had a kind heart. She was always willing to lend a hand or listen when you needed a friend. Tyler was a warrior. She was a fighter. And she was a hero to those who watched her through her journey. Tyler was a best friend to everyone she would meet. She was strong and courageous, and she fought her battle with such determination.
Tyler’s life is not defined by the disease that she fought but, Tyler would want the world to be aware. She would want to help save a life or make another person’s battle a little easier. Tyler battled cancer three times. Her first battle started when a surgeon removed an ovarian cyst, and he ruptured the tumor inside her. Testing of the tumor came back that it was cancerous. Tyler underwent treatments and we rejoiced when the doctor’s confirmed Tyler was cancer free. Tyler always struggled to conceive and by a miracle of God after having her treatments Tyler gave birth to her beautiful little boy Eddie. Tyler went for what she thought would be her last cancer check-in only to find out that the cancer had returned. Tyler started treatments and 6 months later we received the amazing news that Tyler was again cancer free. Sadly, this news was short lived as the cancer quickly returned and ravished her frail body. After the birth of her son, Tyler had a complete hysterectomy. With no ovaries Tyler was still diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Tyler would want everyone to know this so they can ensure they receive regular checks.
Tyler battled cancer for the last 2 years of her life. She was a FIGHTER! As she navigated this journey Tyler dealt with unimaginable pain and suffering. She was sick all the time. And despite that she put up a good fight. Tyler would not want you to be sad about her passing. Tyler was always the person to give up what she wanted if she knew it would make someone else happy. She was a lover of all, and she wanted nothing more than to please others. Tyler would want you to rejoice in the good times…she would want you to remember her for the bright light she was in this world. So, in Leu of a funeral, we opted to celebrate the beautiful and full life Tyler lived.
Tyler was proceeded in death by many who she loved dearly. In the months before her passing Tyler found God and gave her life over to the lord. Tyler left behind an army who loved her immensely.
Tyler would never have settled for the ordinary, she found magic and whimsy in all things. She now flies among the angels and if you pay close attention she will send you a rainbow in the most unexpected ways.
Today we are not saying goodbye to Tyler but rather we are saying we will see you again on the other side!
I do not own rights to the music played in the video.

Thank you! Everyone else on here uses waste yarn! I feel like its a waste. Lol
Great tutorial
No waste yarn luv it
How many knitted rows for the main headband. Video time is 10:00pm.
I think she said 83 rows
Great to watch
Well done❤
Thanks for lesson. Now I can try it. 🤗

Such a nicer closing than I have been using.
Beautiful
Thank you for sharing❤
Beautiful fantastic
Awesome
How do you prevent it from being too tight
The braid? Use a larger crochet hook. Ensure you skipped enough rows.
Thank you for sharing
Super cute! Thanks for the tutorial, I'm looking forward to trying it out!
Excellent tutorial, Ruth! Thanks for adding braiding to my repertoire! Please make more videos?
What size machine are you using?
40 pin
That's beautiful thank you
Good clear description and visuals. I’m new to this as due to arthritis it’s very painful & tedious to knit with needles.
Wow, double wow, triple wow! As a newbie, i thought special yarn effects like the braiding would take me years to learn. But now, thanks to this tutorial, I can apply this procedure to hats, mittens and socks! Thanks so much for the clear directions!
So clever! Thanks!
Gracias, Gracias, Gracias.
Thank just what I needed
Loved this video. So did my dog.on the heart carabiner video. When your dogs barked mine did too.
9:14 You: "...four, five, six-" Child, offscreen: "seven!" Me, immediately smiling: "That's right! Good job, kiddo!"
I think It's called the back bump
Precioso!! Si me encantaria aprender a hacer blusas frescas en la sentro!! Muchas gracias

These are the sweetest! Thank you so much for the tutorial!
Rows
Great idea with the row counter placement and the no waste yarn ear warmer. Thank you for sharing.
I would like to see the finished product - all elements put together with a pumpkin
There is a video on the finished cup cozy in my list of videos
Lindos 💕 Bom trabalho maravilhosa ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The braid is so beautiful
Great video, clear instructions, thank you
Can you make this with a 22 pin machine?
Maybe with a smaller heart...or if you mattress stitch 2 22 panels together
Is it any easier using only one strand of waste yarn at end, rather than 5-7?
Thank you so much for sharing! This is such a fun and cute idea!
The braid is very nice. I do mine with scrap yarn at both ends. It's much easier to finish with a crochet hook that way, and easily find the stitches.
How many rows do you knit for a little girl?
Thank you for sharing your beautiful work I love the look of this
Love everything about this except the method of removing it from the machine. I always knit it off before loosening it then spin twice around and pop it off. I tried this way and unfortunately ruined the work I just did and had to start all over. :(
If you drop stitches when knitting off, or using a needle to bind off, those stitches can be picked up again. You use a crochet hook, put the hook through the front of the top loop/stitch, that you have, and pull the straight yarn just above the stitch through the loop. Continue to the top. You may want to put markers in other stitches first, though.
Did you replace your counter and if so do you have a video on it ?
The 40 pin doesn't have a cou ter if that is the machine tou are asking about? I added a digital counter with self adhesive velcro on the metal piece that holds the sensor. Then I just leave my counter lay on .y stand so I can use it on alternate machines
Well done!
Would love to know where you got your darning needle at?
This is wonderful. Thank you for sharing this with us. New at this so I’m looking for things to make.
Did you use super glue to glue the yellow sensor to the top of the machine?
It's wax and just double side tape
How did you install your digital row counter?. I like the placement of the sensor.
Hot glue for the attachment on the machine and double sided tape on the counter for the table.
