Solo Practicing Glide Approaches | C42B Ikarus
Today I was practicing how to approach the runway for landing without using the airplane's engine power.
Many thanks to Julian Midder, my instructor from White Horse Aviation Club.

My First Solo Flight | C42B Ikarus
Переглядів 2,3 тис.5 місяців тому
Flying a little Ikarus C42 for the first time on my own out of Yatesbury Airfield, England Many thanks to Julian Midder, my instructor from White Horse Aviation Club
Yah did good ...
Thank you
For a small ultralight it feels very secure. No bumps or drifts. My flights were 80% full of throwing around and constant fighting with windsheer. Am I missing something here? 😮
There wasn't too much wind that day, that's why it looks smooth. Otherwise the flight is usually bumpy. Also at the begging of my lessons, it took me couple flights to get used to not feeling nauseous. So I know how you feel :D
Congratulations!
Thank you
Congratulations- Good.Job ! And I liked that you didn't add any annoying background music to your video.
haha I am not a big fun of background music, when I watch flying videos either
Well done! You will always remember this day with pride. That's what happened to all of us.
Thank you, it was awesome I can't lie
im sub #2!
for a split second i thought the instructor stood close to a running engine/prop so i turned up the sound but nothing, then i saw the propeller blade behind the upright tube ..... phewww
Yeah, I know... unfortunately the sound only works when the radio is on
Congrats man! I still remember my first solo flight like if it was yesterday!
Thank you! It is an amazing feeling to land the plane on your own for the first time
