Hello, Mitch!! I actually looked at these comments for the first time today. I appreciate you sticking up for me as it was my first caucus ever! So to all the people that think I looked pissed, I was! Someone in government needs to come up with a more professional end to a tie. Granted it was one delegate, but to me it was worth fighting for. People who make ugly comments probably sit on their butts at night and watch TV, I got involved for the first time because I care about the future of my children. Period. I love the internet, because low life people that are totally uneducated, can act like big stuff and say I got involved. Brother, no wonder the USA is ridiculed by other countries. Ok, will stop the rant. Back to my real job of taking care of premature babies.

Hi Mitch, Recently I saw this video from the Hardin County Caucus that you posted. I have been working on a documentary for the last year in which we cover political ties and how they are settled. It would be great to touch base with as I am trying to arrange a trip to Iowa the week of 3/6 to interview the key players from this video along with some officials from the party. I have read reports of potential fraud in the iowa caucs. For example a supposed Hilary Supporter misled First time Caucus goers who wanted to vote for Bernie into leaving the town hall, trying to lock them out.

Let me ask the Democratic people of Iowa ... what's wrong with voting and counting? Why the horse and popularity contest like you're still in high school? I understand the need for having a Caucus in 1816 when most people had no real access to candidates and lived (and worked) in very rural areas. But this is 2016 with television, radio, the internet and non-stop TV "news". If you can't make a decision BEFORE caucus/voting night on what candidate you want to support ... what have you been doing the past year when these guys/gals LIVED in your state? This reminds me of the old story about how a woman always cut off the two ends of her ham before baking it because that's the way her mom used to do it. When asked her mom said, "well the ham didn't fit in my pan, so I cut the ends off." Doing something outdated often makes no sense. Oh well we won't hear about Iowa again until 2020.

Wouldn't it be great if all of the precincts made a video of the vote results in front of the voter crowd and published it to youtube? There would be far less controversy the day after. Maybe this could be a rule for the next round.

I thought Hillary Clinton won all the coin tosses. Clearly that is not the case and this should be FIXED. There were only 6 coin tosses and this is one of them. And clearly math states that six wins in a row is very very improbable. 1.5% chance of happening approx.
