Cheesing the blue room: go all the way back to the previous area and when you come back the enemies spawn early-before you drop down-much easier this way!

i get really annoyed with them relying on grenades on easy. fuck hard and crushing

#1: Use cover in anyway you can wether it's ground or ledge level. It's best to take cover farther away from mooks than you would normally be alot closer #2: Do not underestimate your starting pistol, the PM. Having a fairly accurate side arm you can pick off mooks from will really carry you a looooong way instead having to rely on something like an AK or M4 for long range encounters #3: Find out what certain mooks trigger other mooks to spawn, and make sure to save them last.(example: in the Blue Room of Chp 5, when you first walk in, there are 2 guys on ledges above you with AK's, and a guy on ground level with a PM. Killing the guy with the PM will cause more guys coming in from the left side of the room.) #4: Brutal Combos and Headshots are going to be your best friend on Crushing. Try to use then whenever it's convenient. #5: If you are able, you can be really cheeky, and shoot at mooks "through" walls and other pieces of cover using the sholder position mechanic to it's fullest extent (example: say there are about 5 mooks already aggroed on Drake; you can camp behind the wall and pick them off with your pistol. You can also kill off any mooks trying to bum rush Drake by using a mid/close-range weapon such as an AK/M4/Moss/SAS, or by using a Brutal Combo.)

Don't know if you're ever gonna read this, but i've just subscribed after watching the DMC 1 video and I like your content, so I think you should just make gameplays of this games, it would be cool

I feel your pain I just finished crushing and am now doing brutal. I definitely don't recommend it if crushing was too much of a challenge. In my opinion tho I think chapter 5 is harder then 4 simply because that flooded room you have to clear out fucked me up on both difficulties and it pisses me off so badly.

I remember playing all 3 games on Crushing and 1 was an excruciating experience. The basics were to not use cover where possible, but stay behind the obstacle (pillar) and use the unrealistic way the game uses perspective - where Drake can shoot at the crosshair, but the enemies fire at the obstacle between them and Nate.

I started yesterday on crushing difficulty... this is agony...

of all the DMC games, this is the one I want a remake of. Just improve the graphics to DMC 5 levels and give us style switching, touch nothing else.

i grew up in a not so good financially stable family, played this game on a friends house. this is what hooked me into DMC games
