You can target farm them on Costal Bazaar Survival. Genies are rewarded on wave 25. You can do NM or Ruthless. Also Ruthless Hall of Court wave 25. Or you can get them as just regular end of map rewards. Costal and Hall of Court are the better way though.

Well I'd like to think the process should be somewhat legit. I mean the rewards are a thing, but I think what's more important to all the endgame players is to actually see what type of seahorse can be generated. So I think if you had the absolute best one they would be excited to show it off to everyone else.

I don't think either has impacted the economy at all. Giraffes and Big Coal are worth nothing in the trading market. People were hoping for Big Coal to be used as cv, but that won't happen due to how easy big coals are to make.

Yeah, the timing is unforgiving.

It's just RNG. The only thing the affects drop quality is the survival wave number, difficulty and whether hardcore is checked or not. So when armor farming on Survival, for most maps, quality caps at wave 23 which is why you generally start survival runs on wave 22.

I hold shift down on one of the Guardians and then switch to my F2 hero.

Go into the Dungeon Defenders Live\Binaries\Win32 folder and create a shortcut to DunDefGame.exe. You can run the live version from there and the beta version from Steam. Just not both at the same time.

It's generally better to have 2p or 3p out. 4p just increases mob hp and makes waves take longer to complete. For efficiency, 2p is the way to go except on the last wave when you want the end of map rewards. Then, you go 4p.
