Over 100,000 Spanish soldiers and sailors fought against the British helping the United States win their independence! The American Revolution was a world global war and not just within the 13 Colonies as we're so used to seeing it as!

A subtle detail - Cornwallis refuses to face or look at the French ships, the English despised them THAT much during this period.
