Feeder fishing for Bream on my local park lake.
In this session from last Summer, I am fishing my local park lake in the North East of England, called James Steel Park (Mount Pleasant Lake).
The lake is a rock hard venue and has struggled to gain members over the past few years but it does have a decent stock of Bream and Tench, we are currently doing a lot of work on the lake to improve the fishing from many years ago after over a decade of decline and as you can see by some of my UA-cam video's, the lake still has an awful lot to offer and will only be improving as time goes by, well worth just £25.00 per year!
My tactics were a very simple groundbait feeder rig, combining Sweetcorn and Worm as my primary hookbait along with Supercrack Bream groundbait, a deadly method on here for the bream.
Usually I prefer to get a bed of feed out at the start of my session but as you will see, I begin catching almost instantly, this probably limited the number of Bream I ended up with as its better to have a lot of feed out before they move in, in order to hold the fish in your swim for longer periods but I still end up with 4 cracking slabs, all between 4-6 Pound in weight, good fishing for any Bream angler.
