Trip to Lavoûte-Chilhac, summer 2024.

I took my son Sean on a roadtrip to Austria and Italy in the summer of 2024. The highlight of the trip was seeing Rammstein perform in Klagenfurt stadium in Austria.

A short trip to Connemara in Co. Galway, Ireland, just before Easter 2024.

So this is a bit of a mixture of things, odds and ends! I thought I would visit some Portugese restaurants and show you what the local food is like.

So I made it back down to Alvor in Portugal, a long drive from Geneva, over 2,000kms. I plan to stay here for a month and see how it goes. I might have another plan up my sleeve but it's too early to say... 24-02-2024

Ok, well thank God 2023 is over. It had some high points last summer, but then when I was diagnosed with prostate cancer that put a bit of a damper on things. I'm putting all that behind me and heading into 2024, not quite knowing where I'm going but let's see where my heart will take me. As they say, the heart is a lonely hunter...

So I spent Christmas in Dublin, stayed in a nice room in Lwr. Leeson Street, near the city centre.

Shortly after I drove to Calais and got the ferry to the UK, where I spent some time in Oxford, Cornwall and London.
