God can save anyone. Man or woman. Child or adult. The innocent or guilty. If you search for Him, you will find Him. I've always found it interesting how some consider themselves too much of an intellectual to believe something like The Bible. Yet, you probably believe your ancestors are fish. That you came from pond scum. Out of millions upon millions of fossil records, we don't have any that prove evolution. Yet you still believe. That's called faith. It's a shame when people can't see the forest for the trees.

@@honestly_7724 first of all, you know nothing about me. Second, you know nothing about evolution. Third, your bible is as useful as any other mythology book. Proof is required for belief.

@chuckk17 I read your words. You inferred he is too mature to believe in The Bible. You also say I don't know you, yet you claim to know me in the next sentence, lol. I'm assuming if you don't believe in God, then you are probably an atheist. Notice I also said "probably" in my first comment as well. I didn't claim to know you. Furthermore, we don't have proof of a species evolving into another, so I guess you don't believe then? Even if we did, it still wouldn't disprove God. Not to mention, no mythology even comes close to the sheer amount of evidence supprting The Bible. More than any other ancient Latin or Greek literature, the Bible has tremendous historical and manuscript evidence for its reliability. It has far more manuscripts and far earlier manuscripts. The New Testament has well over 1,000 times as many manuscripts as the works of the average classical author. There are more than 5,700 Greek New Testament manuscripts still in existence. And over 20,000 in different languages, which all line up within 99% accuracy of each other. Name a mythology that even comes close, I'll wait. In other words, if we deny the reliability of the New Testament, we must far more strongly deny every other historical record of ancient civilization. The question becomes what is more plausible to believe? Everything came from nothing, inanimate matter or an intelligent mind? Concerning the beginning of everything, you can not have an infinite regress of uncaused causes. You must have a first uncaused cause. That uncaused cause is either an intelligent mind or inanimate matter. I've never seen life come from non life. I've never seen the rational come from the irrational. Take morality, for example. Are morals objective? If not, when is it ever okay to abuse an innocent child? If we are intellectually honest, we know the answer to that question. For objective morals to exist, there must be a moral law giver. Even Harvard acknowledges through research and studies that Jesus Christ was a historical figure who walked the Earth. Oxford as well, issues New Testament textbooks as historical record every year. The question isn't; Did he exist? He obviously existed. The question is, did He really perform miracles and rise from the dead? The historical evidence points to His reliability. When you take in all of the different points of evidence and the objective truths found in The Bible that we still use today, it becomes abundantly apparent that the evidence points to God's existence. And let's not kid ourselves, we don't really base or live our lives on indisputable proof, if we did, you would break out the science test kit to make sure your mother didn't poison your food when you come over to have dinner. You know the evidence points to your mother loving you and wanting the best for you. The evidence of God is everything around you, including yourself.
