Here we present our first Artist, young talented SARANYA SARKAR on the Bansuri. He is accompanied on the tabla by Shri Nabarun Kumar Datta.
In Ep-03, Saranya has selected Raaga Kaushik-Dhwani, a late evening mood raaga.
BIODATA OF SARANYA SARKAR:
Saranya started his learning in Hindustani Classical flute at the age of nine from his Guru Shri Uday Dey, who is an eminent disciple of Pt. Pranab Mukhapadhyay. He has already participated in various Indian classical music competition held across our country. He has been the WINNERS of JHANKRITI 2022 organized by ‘World Forum for Art and Culture’ and ‘Ministry of Culture’, Govt. of India, SANGEET MILON 2022, Lucknow, VISHVAS Sangeet Pratiyogita 2023, organized by VISHVAS Sangeet Samiti and Ministry of Art and Culture department of Hariyana. He is also the TOPPER of VISTAR music Competition 2023, Kolkata. He is now thirteen years old and studying in class Eight. Saranya leaves in Nadia, West Bengal.

Today for first time I have chance to cherish this Nat Bhairav performance on flute by a prodigy Anirban Roy. To me, it is late Pt. Panna Lal Ghosh of yesteryears who have once again relived to accomplish what he probably cudn't because of his early departure which I feel was untimely demise. To dear Anirban, keep on giving such time less performances in times to come. Mahaprabhuu has his eternal blessings showered on U.😊❤
