FX will only be applied to the channels you've assigned the FX to. The FX level on the Aux acts like at the Master fader to control the overall FX output to that Aux channel.

I found this because I inherited a jassy Elite es , Jassy Series , and a Merits . All need batteries. I have bad back cant work , need batteries bad ...the elite will charge all the way up . But will die within 10 to 20 min. cant stand it when you ask a question and get no responses. Not taking it serious, the person took the time to watch the video and liked in it and is interested in what you had to say / product . In return say somthin. Like, well I decided to keep it or I gave it to my grandson cuz he like riding it . 2 years this mans or women been waiting on a price . I THINK ITS BEST TO JUST TAKE THE VIDEO DOWN .

i think you can hit the system button near the screen and Page Down until you get to Graphic EQ then scroll over to the corresponding Aux

Thanks for your comment. No video for using scenes. The faders on the StudioLive series mixers are not motorized. You can recall your stored fader position using Fader Locate Mode. If you recall a scene with Fader Recalling set to "yes", Fader Locate Mode is enabled and you can use the Fat Channel meters to see your stored fader position. To change the fader after recall, you need to move the fader to its original position and then it will become active. Yes. I was limited to 5 minutes in the task and a reasonable discussion of ground connections would have taken most of it. Also, I thought if you really had a ground issue with the electrical infrastructure, most people would not be equipped to really do anything about it. . . .

Thanks for your comment and question. When monitoring, do you really need a stereo feed? I use in-ear and I find stereo unnecessary. Your in-ear gear pre-amp setup should do it for you. A really inexpensive solution is a mono-to-stereo connector from a place like Radio Shack. Put it on your in-ear connector, voila! Sound in both ears. Hope this helps.

@@terrancekawles7693, When using SOLO option, the headphone output is just left channel. As the guy running house sound, I'd prefer to hear solo in both ears, especially when the room is loud. As a musician receiving one of the aux feeds, we have use the stereo/mono switch on the headphone amp to run mono but I can see a need for stereo.. say you want your own instrument and/or voice on one ear and the rest of the band in the other.

From the owners manual: "Stereo linking is done within the Fat Channel. Input channels, aux buses, and subgroups can be linked to create a stereo pair. I thought there was a way to run stereo out of a single aux channel through a XLR cable but haven't figured that out. We may have to use this link feature (mentioned at 0:49) and a Y cable to join two aux channels into a single L/R cable.

I agree! The raw video was "quick and dirty" because of having to work around two large winter storms in the NYC area, there just wasn't the time for a good quality camera and me to be in the same place long enough to do the footage. Hence, the MacBook camera with no quality lighting . . .
