This lady looks young! So wise. I’m 67 and have been doing these things for 40 years plus. I now fly to visit our bachelor son 1200 miles away every couple months and make him no less than 18 frozen dinners. He does cook but quite blandly. I make these in one day and usually is five recipes, surely saving a couple hundred on grocery bill. The ingredients partner with each other used in various ways with different spices. It’s gratifying to save him money and feed him nutritiously. Oh did I mention he is GF and dairy free. Lol it’s a challenge but so is frugal cooking! Keep the videoed coming!😊

I remember making dinner with 3 kids, 5 and under, under my feet the whole time. One day I was trying to cook and my kids were fighting about who got to be He-man. (It was the 80’s). Anyway, I remember yelling, “Jeffrey! For the love of God, let your sister be He-man!” I still say no one should have to utter those words. Ah, well the kids are 40 now.😊

Sounds good....Another tip I have is to buy some nuts. I like walnuts and pecans. Also buy raisins or some kind of fruit. Toss them together and put into a small container with a lid. As you're driving home and starving, take out the emergency food and eat a couple of bites while at a stop light. It will take the HUNGRY edge off until you get home and cook.

We dont eat out because i was a waitress for 25 years. You know, bus mans holiday. We eat basically the same thing every monday, every Tuesday and so on... with little tweaks. Groceries are so easy this way. Of course we have something totally different every so often, but its usually a pantry pull. The crockpot is my best friend.

Am I the only person who is more prone to both forgetting things, and impulse buying when shopping online? By not having a cart to just look down at and keep track of, I will grab random snacks thinking I haven't gotten enough for my family, or will lose track of little staples of meals.

I ordered delivery once from Walmart. It took 8 hours to get it halfway straightened out. The first guy gave me the wrong order. The second lady put it on the porch and then started removing it. I had requested for them to just leave it on the porch. I don't know if she was stealing it or what.

They tried to bag my tomato under tonic water bottles the other day at HEB. It might have been ok when they picked it and then bagged it wrong.
