OK, these are some good reminders, there’s no question that increasing your mental clarity and boosting your drive, comes with quitting. Yes, there are many ways to kick the habit, Steffon Barkload's latest is what worked for me, best shortcut I go’ogled that took days without withdrawal.

This is great! Id love to work with either of these men!! Inspiring.... Early evangelist the both of them. The cost of alcohol and alcoholism on our societies is more profound than many people think. Later generations will look back and be mystified how people literally drank poison for fun, entertainment, and escapism.

Do it! The education system def needs a shake up. Very inspiring. Don't think you're a psycho but glad my kids didn't bump into you back in the day. I really want to have the energy and confidence to do something similar in terms of building community. Must be braver :) Namaste

Just came here from seeing Andy on Rich Roll podcast. I LOVE Athletic Brewing and am so excited that I can get it at Costco now- truly shows how mainstream N/A beer is becoming. (Oddly, though, I can’t go through the self-check. I still am rerouted to the manned checkout because even though it says “non-alcoholic” on the package, there is enough alcohol, apparently that Costco-or California-thinks this 62 year old needs to show proof of age, lol.)

This is revolutionary. I spent 3 years in university study addiction science and I truly believe that overcoming addiction, for a lot of people, is really just helping them to make a decision to abstain-as opposed to giving them one of two options- continue with definite negative consequences or go to AA and be feel shamed and leave society and change your identity. Thank you

I disagree that people are unaware of the dangers of alcohol, they are not stupid but just ignorant.

As a GP in Australia, alcohol use would be one of the first things I would ask about. The other thing is that doctors are not immune from alcohol use disorder, so thank you very much for this discussion, it is so very useful. We sometimes also forget the link between alcohol and breast cancer, orophayngeal and oesophageal cancer and so many other things. So many adverse effects of alcohol!
