Hi, I am starting this pattern (thank you!) and my skirt is coming out wavy -- it will not lay flat (i was unable to find the jumbo #7 wool ease). i am wondering if maybe I am crocheting too tightly? i would appreciate any suggestions!

I don’t understand. The first chain side you did the half double crochet half double Crochet differently, but yarn over, over one loop and a]then yarn over pull all three loops. But on the other side you said half double crochet and then you yarn over and pull through all three loops. Thins is the reason why I have not been able to follow because from the quilting video, it’s Not clear either.

I’d so love to do this project but the tutorial is crap. It’s too vastly done and you’re not even showing how the stitch would look. I’m teaching myself how to crochet. And this would be amazing. Even though this is a step by step tutorial, there’s not enough light, your hands are casting a shadow on your work and you’re too fast. Absolutely gutted! 😢
