I've watched a lot of other videos on the topic, but this one was, by far, the easiest to understand. It also helped that it was short. One important point to note is that, if you extend the note in the piano roll to the same length as the automation event, the riser will end with an ear piercing sound. I was able to remedy this by making the automation event a bit longer than the note itself. In addition, I used the Channel Volume control in the piano roll for the note to drop the Channel Volume abruptly at the end to cut off that ear piercing sound. That solved the problem for me.

AA battaries are great advantage because you can quickly replace them instead of running around like an idiot with discharged internal one!

Is there a way to de-assemble the head of the tripod? This will make it possible to put some oil in it, and make it more smooth.

My tripod is very stiff for moving the camera around a horizontal axis. The vertical axis is less stiff, but still doesn't yet allow for a smooth motion. I made a box to hold my tablet, and then I fixed a six milimeters (I think!!) nut on the bottom. The idea was that the nut was to be screwed to the screw on the top of the tripod, thus allowing the tablet to be mounted on the tripod!! But then I discovered (...after some months....) that this screw was according to Japan specifications, or some other Eastern Asia country. This means that my western nut cannot be screwed on the eastern Asia screw. So, I had to remove it, and replaced it with a western six millimeter screw, fasted with a nut. Unfortunately, the easy or the only way to remove it was by destroying it. Now, a caution: if you remove this screw and replace it, and later you want to mount a camera, you may not be able to do so, because the camera could not be mounted on a western screw. Or, you can make a box to hold the camera, etc.

I would prefer a review not to have over powering music and I would prefer to have opinions and comments by spoken word. This subject does not demand the dramatic film treatment - It should be a simple review.

This tripod does not have smooth panning, it is far too jerky for video. Using an SLR with lens fully extended it is not very stable as there is too much movement, so it is not good for long exposure shots (very blurry). The clips are flimsy and the head is all plastic construction, and it moves when tightening for pan/tilt

I use a big Manfrotto tripod, but it's too heavy for walking far with, so I got one of these and was very pleasantly surprised. I've used a Nikon D700+24-70mm f2.8 (heavy pro lens) without any problems, even with 3 or 4 second exposures!

Great review. This was the first tripod i bought which was only a few days ago and didn't realise you were supposed to screw the camera onto the mount using the bottom clip thing. I was really struggling to get my camera to screw on but problem solved, thanks man!
