Just coming round from last night's Cardiff gig...they blew the fucking place apart....I'm 54, seen 1000s of bands but fuck me, I saw my favourite gig, my bird loved it, .the weed n ecstacy helped ha ha...mind fuckin blown...

You should see where it took place. Go look up the Piece Hall, Halifax. Not your usual rock gig venue.

Hell yeah. I've been a roadie 10+ years and it's gotta be the best venue I've been to. Perfect for the queens. Definitely will go to piece hall again 😉

I think my phone was on trippy mode! I'm not sure why it was all distorted and weird! I've got an excuse to get a new one now! I'd definitely recommend r2... He still rescues me on a daily basis - especially since the kids have found Pokemon go which eats the battery life!

Well, apparently his dad worked for the alliance and was part of the crew that helped blammerise the second Death Star with Mr Solo, and his mother was a pilot for them as well, so they would've been around the various rebel bases. So, who knows!, it's a possibility!

+Skylord Luke It's not Tarkin, they are going to do digital Tarkin using old Peter Cushing footage. Ben Mendelsohn (the actor in all white) is playing either a Grand Admiral or high ranking officer of Imperial Security/Intelligence. I would guess the latter though, since this is an espionage/war movie.

+Skylord Luke I'm not sure that's Tarkin. That Grand Admiral in the trailer looks identical to one I've seen in Star Wars cover art for something. I can't remember what, but the image showed two Grand Admirals: the guy in the trailer on the right, and on the left and in front of him, Grand Admiral Thrawn.

Vintage hoth rebel mate, my reaction was worse than yours..i forgot about the 2nd trailer, and my 15 year old pre programmed first daughter played me on her phone.. i said its not out, it must be a fan trailer, then saw the crashed star destroyer.. and then it went downhill from there... well needless to say when han and chewie showed up, i was kinda speechless and well and truly choked up.. My daughter didn't even take the mick, as she knows how i feel about SW.. but she did say..dad you've got all emotional.. i was gone..i was that 7 year old kid in 1977 that just had his mind blown in the same way he did then, as a 45 year old.. i didn't whooo and cheer...i was silent and just holding back something ive waited a long time to feel... so i love your reaction my friend, i saw in you what i felt, and it s strong in us.. i would have loved to have been there too, cali is a long hike from manchester..lol

Just like you, I'm in my 40's and those films mean an awful lot to me as well!! :) Without wanting to bore you, My Star Wars collection of memorabilia and toys has become a bit of an obsession!! ( I'll post a few vids later in the year!) it's become ridiculous!! I love it and the wife is alright with it!! ( I have my eyes on an r2 car charger next!! his head turns around, makes noises and lights up as well charging my phone!! Lol!! Perfect!!) If you felt any sort of connection with the reaction, that makes me one very happy man!! It was worthwhile posting the vid for that one comment alone!! I've watched it back and there are a few subtle signs that I was overjoyed.... Vintage hoth rebel lol....Firstly...of course i felt the connection.. since i saw it in 77 as a 7 year old, it's partly dominated my life..ive actually got another nipper on the way, and with having 2 girls already, if its a lad, he will be called luke....or chewie.. Little un was a bit poorly last week and we took to the hospital, and of course when asked what religion, i said jedi without a blink..nurse said its the second time today..lol So i absolutely felt the connection..i saw in you what i felt..i was a little overwhelmed to be honest.. secondly...you could never bore me, it'd be me boring you mate... One things for sure, were lucky enough to have a i max in city center manchester, that is going to be a dead cert.. and whats the betting, this flattens avatar's box office record on opening day.... for once i want time to hurry up..lol ive subscribed mate..ill keep in touch.. have a good day on monday too...i know you know what i mean..
