Hotel Privilege Aluxes, Isla Mujeres, Mexico 2021 Tour
We had the opportunity to visit Hotel Privilege Aluxes on Isla Mujeres. We flew in to Cancun and had a private transport to and from the island. This hotel has the option to be All-Inclusive, however it isn't required. We had the breakfast included, and did one day all inclusive while we used our other days exploring this beautiful island. I hope you enjoy the tour of the Hotel!

We had a great time on our excursion with Cancun Sailing! We got to sail out to a fun snorkeling spot, and then explore Isla Mujeres for a few hours! Swimming in the ocean looks difficult. Hardly any sand area. Looks like coral.
If we are both adults and staying on the finest side can we have access to the adults only areas ?

This may be one of the best videos of this resort I’ve seen. We’ve planned our 3rd trip here in late November. Can’t go wrong Finest Playa Mujeres. The rooms, food and service are superb just don’t be expecting a crazy party atmosphere. Thankfully there are no foam parties here. lol
Hi, my husband and i are new to the all-inclusive system. I kept googling how it works, what’s included, fees, etc. If you have any information that could help i’d greatly appreciate it.
This is one of the best all-inclusive experiences out there. There’s only two levels of service. Basic and Excellence Club(adults only)/Finest Club(families). The difference being for the most part are exclusive beach areas and exclusive use of a few of the many outstanding restaurants and bars that are available regardless. Unlike a lot of all-inclusives there is no wrist band nonsense and restaurants don’t take reservations. The rooms, resort grounds, food and service are outstanding here. I can’t think of any significant extra charges above what you pay initially to be there. If you want a romantic dinner on the beach that understandably is extra but other than that I can’t think of what else. Restaurants have a required dinner dress code. Pants, collared shirt and no sandals for men. I would call it business casual? Some people don’t like that but I do.

I would recommend the Excellence Resort. Owned by the same company run by the same staff. I wouldn't be surprised if the food comes out of the same kitchen between the Excellence and the Finest. Only difference is that Excellence is 18 and over which is great. My first first was the Excellence in DR and I haven't gone to any other resort group since then. I'm going to the Finest in July because my wife and I are bringing our daughter. Because the Finest is an Excellence resort I'm confident that service will be the same. I strongly suggest you look at the Excellence Resort if its just you and you're husband.

Most underrated resort at WDW IMO. Try the tacos at the taco bar on lower floor. You still get all the perks of a typical Disney deluxe resort at moderate pricing.
Planning this now. Is this the regular boat or the luxury boat option?
This is my go to Disney hotel. Have stayed here on 4 different occasions. The view I get is always amazing can see both Epcot & Hollywood studios fireworks (worth upgrading about $120 dollars over a 5 night stay including TAX) the convenience of being able to walk to Hollywood studios in just over 5mins is everything/being able to use the water taxi is always a lovely experience. Staff are great & helpful. Worth staying here for sure don’t be put of by the “non Disney brand” you still get most of the benefits of being at an official Disney hotel
Great video, well done. Stayed there once many years ago. Nice to see the paint/color scheme updated. My experience at this hotel was not the best, as I got locked in my hotel room (lock broke and couldn’t get out) and had to wait over 30 minutes for Security to get me out. Also, had a family gathering/dinner at Blue Zoo (7 in group). They sat us at our table promptly and took our meal orders within 15 minutes. Then 90 minutes after that, still no food. Manager kept telling us our orders were up next in kitchen, as we watched multiple, larger groups of 20+ come in after us, get seated, and fed their meals while we waited. Stayed at Swan twice since then. Much better experience and have recommended it to many.
After days on end searching for the best all inclusive, my wife and I picked Finest for our first trip to Cancun in April. By the looks of this video, we wont be disappointed!

The Finest and the Excellence are both owned by the same company (I think family owned) I have been two different Excellence resorts in DR. They are so great I'm afraid to try any other resort out of fear of being disappointed. I schedule This resort for July cause we are bringing our 14yo daughter. However if we didn't have a child coming with us I would stick with the adults only Excellence resort. Same service, same style just 18 and over. I believe the Excellence in Cancun is right beside this resort. You may want to take a look.

Do you need to be a member of the finest club or excellence club to have access to certain areas like the pool bar, beach bar and kids club?
Great question! The beach has its own sections for finest club and excellence club, however it will not restict you from being able to enjoy all the amenities. We were not allowed in the kids club area (only because we were not there with any children). Sorry for responding so late! Thanks again for watching!
Can I ask if they have proper internet connection
In the room, main lobby, and restaurants had good internet. We didn't use much internet while we were outdoors, so I'm not to sure about that.
How was the plunge pool is it worth it?
We only used it once, but we did eat breakfast upstairs every day. I would say it was worth it!

Great video and details of the resort. Felt like i was there. How far is the ride from the closest airport? Any good spots to snorkel at the resort?
Thanks! The Cancun Airport right about a 40 min drive from the resort. We paid to have transportation to and from the airport, which i believe was around $35 each way. At the resort there wasn't too much to look at when snorkeling, but on the excursion we did to Isla Mujeres, we had plenty of fish and underwater statues to look at. How did you go about booking your transportation to and from airport?
@@ambercriner97 I know sometimes they have deals included in the stay, but we used usa-transfers.com to get transportation to and from the airport.
