Suiha no Den [Noh Dance Music]
Yōrō - Suiha no Den
Suiha no Den ("The story of water-wave") is a variation of Kami Mai (ua-cam.com/video/yEc4sFg7UGY/v-deo.html). Section 5 is performed in the Banshiki key, which is the higher key than the normal Kami Mai.
It is performed for the special direction of "Yōrō 養老". It is a taiko-mono performed with instruments including the flute, Kotsuzumi, ōtsuzumi and Taiko.
The music is in the form of a cycle of Ryo-Chu-Kan(呂中干形式).

It really sounds like music and drama for gods. Plus there is a language barrier for me, so that adds another layer of mystic vibe.

Thank you for the structural/movement annotations. There are too many English "sources" on Noh that go full into the "it's too magical and mystical and spiritual to explain in words~" wishywashy kind of non-explanation, so it is welcome to the point of shocking how clear and granular you are.
