    I agree with @gisgler, well done presentation of the basic equipment except for the helmet. I don't know what's needed for gym climbing but outdoors a HELMET is ESSENTIAL for protecting your most important piece of equipment.

    I would use a harness to walk him. It’s safer than around his be neck. Also, that neck collar looks too tight. If you have too pull him back while on a leash, he could get hurt with that collar.

      @@JesseMontgomery, Yes. I watched your video. I see that you use a very thin harness and covered by the cat’s hair. I’m used to seeing harnesses with more coverage - in case the cat has to be lifted by the leash in an emergency. I do see it now since you mentioned.

    Great video! People don't consider that when you buy something, you are giving up time twice - the time that it took to make the money to buy the thing, and then the time that thing steals from you as you use it/maintain it and the time it takes away from other things in your life.

    • @JesseMontgomery
      @JesseMontgomery 6 місяців тому

      For climbing outside I would say yes. A lot of it depends on the area, quality of the rock, safety of the routes, and your own comfort level. My opinion it’s better to just always wear one when climbing outside

    Doesn't the overhand knot prevent the sliding x from sliding and increasing the chance you load one anchor more than the other?

      That`s why he showed that you have to check where the force will come from when the 2nd climbers goes up, move the biner around and then do the overhand knot so it is already equalized
