@legendofafq even if I did the soldering? I just don't wanna break it all apart and break something due to the fact I've spent a lot of money on mods as it is.

@@OfficialMidas999 tbh I haven’t done the back paddles attachment as I wasn’t sent it. But if getting to the base means you have to remove the soldered pieces then unfortunately yh you would have to do that.

I've never had that issue. Maybe try a different charging cable as it could be a cable issue. If not then its probably defective.

its frame generation. its not actual 500fps and you wouldn’t tell a difference. I prefer playing without it. Just feels better.

I was in 138mbps/29mbps download and upload speeds before gigabit somehow became available. Before that, was on 38mbps download and 10 upload. There are still people I know who live in areas limited to 40mbps…

In modern games at 1080p the i7 8700K has high usage and when using dlss especially, the CPU definitely becomes a bottleneck. If you have an i7 8700K I would consider upgrading the chip as well its starting to show its age. Especially on The Finals, that is one CPU taxing game. Imagine GTA6 on i7 8700k ☠️ Edit: Do not buy the 4060 Ti unless you find a REALLY good deal. Even the 4060 has been heavily skimped, albeit it is ~15% faster than a 3060 but also has less VRAM. If you don’t mind going for pre owned, then a 3060 will be a good upgrade if you’re on a budget.

@@thyrayuthrithyathai8489 for modern games playing at 1080p with 3060 will see high CPU usage, if you play at 1440p it will be more GPU bound however with a 3060 at 1440p you’ll probably use DLSS for demanding games and the 8700K at times, can be a bottleneck limiting performance gain. Will vary depending on game. The Finals is a killer game when it comes to cpu performance.

MSI’s MPG B650 Carbon Wi-Fi ATX Motherboard I think its now discontinued which is a shame its a really good motherboard with a lot of fast USB ports

get 32GB DDR5 RAM 6000Mhz CL30 for best stable performance. Theres many different versions RGB and non-RGB and from different brands like Corsair, Gskill and kingston etc. In UK there is Kingston non-RGB for under £100 in amazon thats really good. For motherboard you could get MSI B650 Tomahawk WiFi or Gigabyte’s Aorus Elite AX V2 they are pretty good and nice quality build to them. Also for 7950X3D use a 360mm AIO. I had an 280mm initially and it did the job but noticed 360mm performed better and slightly cooler temps whilst being less quiet.

its playable but you’re definitely putting yourself in a disadvantage especially with sweaty lobbies thanks to the SBMM in these games. I did feel like my movements weren’t ‘instant’ when I ran, aimed or slid in direction. I wouldn’t recommend it. Instead use your 6950 XT with FSR at 4K without it. It doesn’t feel any smoother with frame gen on than without it either. Ideally with 6950 XT, you should play at 1440p with no frame gen or fsr at uncapped frame rate, you’ll get easy 200+ fps as its better than 7800 XT in by ~15%

I haven’t done any manual tuning to it. It is the Nitro+ variant by sapphire and is factory overclocked.

Yes I’m going to upload a 1440p/1080p benchmark soon. I wouldn’t recommend frame gen due to latency that it adds especially for fps shooters like cod. But I’ll do so anyway since you are interested.

@@Sybledits and how sad is that, we have to hope that 50 series is better than 40 when that should be the norm. But yh hopefully they don’t mess about with 5000 series. to the very least, i hope the 5060 goes back to 192 bit or even to 256 for a big ‘generational’ upgrade lol. Of course would love to see 16gb VRAM as a minimum but knowing them will give it 10gb the most incremental bump and still insufficient.

It was on discount around £278 and MSI was giving £40 Steam wallet top up. Like actually decent/acceptable pricing and the deal didn't last very long unsurprisingly. You could get 3060 Ti for around £200 or even a 3070 on eBay for £270. But those would only be pre owned. Wouldn't come with any Steam top ups and more importantly Warranty doesn't transfer.
