I don’t know what it is, but I picked this game back up after a several month hiatus, and everything is just clicking. I’m absolutely loving it. I think all my previous expectations for what I wanted it to be were holding me back from truly enjoying. Now I’m just enjoying it for what it is. The art style and atmosphere I always loved. For whatever reason, I’m now hooked.

This is a really good rundown with a lot of info not relayed in various reviews on YT. I've restarted this game three times since it's released, hoping that it'll eventually click with me. I generally get to the same area and boss before losing interest and not picking it up again. It looks great, there's enough interest to explore and take risks to find cool items, but I keep wanting this to be a Salt & Sanctuary/Death's Gambit/Blasphemous experience, when it's not. It's important to stress that you need to love the roguelike element of losing everything when you die and restarting from beginning. I just don't have the time or patience for this and would rather play similar 2D soulslikes that let me backtrack and keep my stuff. In essence, it's more of a me problem than anything wrong with the game, but I suspect others will be seduced by the pixel art and Metroidvania-look while overlooking the roguelike elements.

this is honestly my fav game,been playing it for YEARS on end and i am quite confident in saying i have 100% beaten it.I played all classes multiple times,tried all mainstream builds and also tried less popular ones (ex,archer rogue).I pretty much memorized all the dialogues and quests and know the map layout by memory.Sidenote:playing this much has..consequences :often times i dream new areas that the game can add lol

I'm loving this series! I'm a veteran player, but its fun to hear your perspective and anecdotes on things that i'm very familiar with. Rogue is my second favorite class after mage.

One of my favorite games on mobile, always nice to do a quest or 2 on occasion. When I used to play the game heavily I really got through the story and all the quests and it was awesome. They later added an update adding a new easiest difficulty and a bunch of quests and new areas, which I’ve yet to fully complete. Such an awesome game and worth the money. Definitely try out the demo at least.

small mistake you made: you can get your character to level 8 when you are playing the free version, not level 4.

One of my favorite games of all time. The story and lore are the most underrated part of it. Dialogue is also written incredibly well.

My friend streamed this 2 years ago and he laughed so hard he hurt himself. It's the only game I've seen make him laugh that hard.

Tips are very handy for those new to mage. Can be rough going, especially working through the mage quests to get to icemist.

Something about this game always caught my eye...🤔 This looks like a lot of fun though! I like the different princess modes.

The not-a-sequel sequel, "Archaelund", is coming out next month on Steam for early access! Party based tactical like cRPG, first person exploration like Skyrim, takes place 500 years after Exiled Kingdoms in the same universe. This game has a surprisingly fun world lore going on and does a pretty good job inspiring the imagination. Love it

I genuinely enjoy this game. It feels like such a labor of love from an old time fan of DnD and the creator is obviously really dedicated to this game. It's the only app I've ever spent money on, I enjoy it that much. I'm honestly bummed it gets so little attention. Is it perfect? No, but it's a charming and fun little game.

for any 2h warrior: allways get rage, ignore whirwind and get charge, this way at lvl 12 you deal like 155 damage with charge. for the 2h get gurguths maul, nearly as good as the best 2h weapon in the game and in the trollfens, be careful and check walls for great treasure, essentialy, allmost all of the space is filled, so check empty map parts or the ones you cant reach somehow with scrolls also go to golden hands grey librabry, leave as asked and immeadietly run back to the right side, go past golem for secret door and give away the "ghost and specters book" for 1k gold, you can now buy 2 amazing items and nearly the cheapest potions ever (when you sell you get like a 10% boost)
