I have stainless steel...I'd rather have white appliances the maintenance is much easier and don't see all the fingerprints

I swear some of these public housing really is much nicer than a lot of the apartments I've rented. Also we don't have washer dryer hookups, fridges, microwaves, ac units. And shoot some of the rents on those places are going for 2k despite the building has mold issues, bed bug infestation and roaches. The exterminator came and saw I'm super clean and all my food on airtight containers and even put stuff like cereal in the fridge. He told me I'm very shortly going to get bed bugs because all 3 of my neighbors that were below and to the sides of me has bed bugs. Anyways, L.A. is expensive so what folks in the south call crap is really luxury for this former Angelino. My "luxury" apartment we had the 80s linoleum, vertical blinds and that was apparently luxury. I had to buy myself a portable ac unit, microwave, fridge and laundromat was at least in the building but questionable. Also if ICE was going to need to clear out it would have only been 4 people left in a 25 unit building. Many neighbors in the 1 bedrooms had 10 children living there along with many adults coming and going at all hours. It was sad seeing the living room was just blankets on the ground for the kids (no mattresses, my guess because it was only a 400sq ft place and with 10 kids and at least 4 adults it wouldn't function well)

Wow you have ac! Not projects but most apartments i could afford in L.A. didn't have ac...I had one that had a wall unit. But they don't give you microwave, fridges and certainly no way to have a laundry in your unit. I've gone from rich to homeless... so I've seen a lot. But I'm not in my bfs home and our living room is not this big and we're living off his nursing paychecks so it's median income. Anyways I'm impressed at how organized you are.

I actually have a white and black stove and white fig and a stainless steel dishwasher all these public housing I’ve seen on here are quite nice places it doesn’t matter what you live in it’s how u make it a home with yr own style

Hey Travis, new subscriber here. Drain the grease as you cook it the meat and then add the spices cause what you’re doing is your adding the spices and you’re going down the drain with the grease. Looks fantastic and I hope it tasted good
