Pure class, fantastic looking car, there’s nothing fake about this car ; all the blown arches are steel fabricated and not Fibre glass, Lister and Carrol Shelby had a couple of things in common and one of them was to drop a 7 litre engine into A car and reinvent the original car brands ! The Green Lister Le Mans on screen is real good but not the best, how do I know this because I own the best Lister Le Mans , with the 18 year restoration coming to an end.
Probably one of the best, if not THE best one left in the world. Nice car.👍

The sick 80s bodykit on these cars combined with the setting immediately made me think of old John Woo movies. I feel like this car would have fit into The Killer or A Better Tomorrow brilliantly.

I remember Fast Lane Magazine, giving a free cassette tape. It had a Lamborghini Countach, a Lister Jaguar XJS 7.0 Le Mans and 2 other super cars sound recording going around a british race track. My favorite car the Lambo sounded second best to the Lister, the Lister was the best sounding car of the 80's. About 10 yrs later, i bought a Countach.

@@andrewholt9332 Hi Andrew, It’s a 1989 , 7 litre 5 speed manual originally red, but previous first owner had sent It back to Listers had it resprayed in British racing Green with Lister Storm OZ wheels and Listers changed front squared corner bumper for the updated round corner bumper back in the nineties. The car is currently coming To the final stages of complete bare metal chassis / SPL dipping process restoration and is now painted back to the original Rossa Red colour and should be finished in new year. I am the second owner and have owned the car for approx 24 years. I have all the original sales invoice, showroom brochure, price list brochure etc etc in a 4 inch thick binder on Lister info and the Original red cotton lister motive car cover which I assume the previous owner was given by Listers . I have tried to keep the car As original as possible but your probably aware our Lister cars are a rare breed indeed and getting hold of parts are scares and as For myself , I’ve had to have them made , by the way I’m also the proud owner of the front bumper template which I had made to the nearest mili meter, and as far as I know it’s the only one in existence, I think, there are few more stories which came with the the Lister Le Mans but I’ve probably gone on bit to much and save them for another day. One thing I will say , it’s been a sleeper super car and gone under the radar for years and only now people have taken notice ,but then Again there were only 20 plus ish built. I read an article in a magazine sometime ago that said WP Automotive Lister cars in the 1980's was intending to open a dealership in Hong Kong, So maybe that has something to do with this particular car ?
