To be clear, OP's mom isn't 'blaming' the daughter for her fathers actions by not taking her in. Someone should take her in! But that's not the responsibility of Op's mom. We don't know the actual reason OP's mom refused btw. We just know that she said no. Being that this woman is already a single mother and has at least two children who are minors...I think its pretty stupid to take in another child just because they are related to yours. Lord only knows if she had the funds, energy, or space for another child. This kid was also neglected and/or abused due to being taken away by CPS. Kids with those backgrounds NEED more attention, understanding, and energy because of their trauma. I have siblings that want nothing to do with me. They wanted nothing to do with me at my highest high and my lowest low. And it sucks. But that is their right. I wish them the best but I dont want to be a spot where I'm unwanted.
