Writing and Editing as Soulful Practice
It is wonderful to hear a discussion of John Haines's life and poetry.
Beautiful, evocative writing.
So grateful I found your conversation. I am loving your book. Your way of telling a story has opened a door for me. Blessings from North Carolina. I am in tears hearing the names being pronounced. Remembering is so important. I am african american-we called ourselves black and what would I be without my mamas and aunties? I got that on the first page.
This was exactly what i was looking for. Thank you all because it was really beneficial
Thank you for the interview. I’m a latecomer to John Strayley’s work, and am really enjoying it. He’s quickly becoming one of my favorite authors.
34:17 love this interview with John Staley. “How do you know what you think you know?” I’ll chew on that for a long time?
Excited to hear from these Alaska authors. Can’t wait to dive into their new books and explore their unique perspectives.
I would say my professor Toby's voice resembles that of "Ghost", the famous avator in Call of Duty:Modern Warfare 2
Wonderful to see this. Thank you for posting.
Thanks for getting this into the world and such short notice. Four cheers to Alaska Book Week!
Thanks for participating!
Write that book, Martha!
