In my opinion, the consumer is paying for the brand name and craftsmanship more than anything else, because with regards to long term value, only gold carries its weight for the long term. gold vermeil is more of a craftsmanship /collection issue. They are externally appealing and beautiful but for the long term are not investment pieces like real gold would be. Dont get me wrong, im a gold vermeil queen myself. But for the long term, the pieces hold no value for your money’s worth, but they are so artfully and artistically done.

Its so weird. Ive had gold vermeil pieces not necessarily from any of these three brands that i wesr every single day and not one tarnish or darkness on the pieces. Maybe some peoples body chemistry darkens the pieces and others dont. I wear most of my gold vermeil pieces every single day, and not one tarnish. Guess im lucky. Lol. Love this video.

In the manual, it stated, the metal parts of your hand bag are gilded with an alloy containing 24k gold. That is ‘an alloy containing 24k gold plated’, not ‘24k gold plated’, as many UA-camrs have mistakenly/ loosely assumed. Hope I’ve helped.

Great video! Question please, do you mind my asking where you bought your woc? Was it online or in person? I have a vintage medium classic flap, black lambskin gold hardware, and absolutely adore it! One thing I learned is to store it on its side to stop gravity from bulging near the bottom, occasionally flip the bag to the other side, chains out and not touching so there are no indents, either on the exterior or on the inner flap from storing the chains inside. I agree with you 100% there is something so special about vintage lambskin… the look is just sooo glamorous!
