Hi! My name is Amy, and over the last two and half years I have experienced God's hand of provision as He helped my dad and me built my tiny house from scratch. The process was easily the hardest thing I have ever done, but I learned so much about how to lean on God through challenges and watch Him satisfy my life's desires! Endurance with God When the Going Gets Tough
Amy shares encouragement to persevere in our callings from God, even when life’s pressures keep us feeling weak and weary. There were many times while building her tiny house that Amy felt weary, but in her weakness God strengthened her to complete the work of building the house.
Like kings and queens, God has given each of us responsibilities and callings for us to fulfill. Though it’s tempting to abdicate (to turn our back on these callings), we press forward in the strength of Jesus knowing that He will help us fulfill all of His plans for our life. If we don’t give up, it will be worth it.

This is what I always think that some builders leave you with no counter space to work on. They leave stoves out as a rule and put in a few burners. You cannot cook on that and have to bring a microwave size convection oven. So lovely her bathroom is at the back not too close to the kitchen and has a sink. That is not an option to me. You learn from watching them all.
Yeah, it's totally not practical. Even if you're in a tiny house you still have to cook and eat! I do not understand the idea of a couple of burners or removable burners. I also agree that it's good to have a sink in the bathroom!

Hi! My dad and I built the house ourselves. :) I don’t like to share what state I’m in, but it is somewhere in the South.

Yep, it took I quite a while to build mine too. LOL!! They aren't built in a day, that's for sure. But it took my friend and me (or I for those who prefer incorrect English) just as long when we built my previous tiny house. Let's see if it takes me less time to build my 3rd tiny house. So far, so good. Yours looks great, BTW. And I'm TOTALLY with you on the double sink. If I don't have a double sink, I refuse to wash dishes; it's that big of a deal for me.
It’s great to meet another DIYer! I have wondered if it would be faster the second time around. Maybe not. lol. The supply chain issues were also a huge part of my wait!

I have heard numerous complaints about the washer drier machines. VToo long to wash and dry clothes. Better off with a stack washer drier. Wash and dry clothes seperately.😊

I think I might have forgotten to tell them! It is 8.5 feet wide and 24 feet long with a 1.5 foot bumpout for the bay window. :)
