@@natureinminutes Those are great places! Did you ever hike the Blue Hills area when you were in MA? That's kind of similar in that, it's right next to civilization & feels extremely remote! My favorite hikes there included Ponkapoag Pond. You could either enter right off the highway (Rte 24) or on the opposite side at the gold course over in Milton. Either way, fabulous hike/run around the pond. One day Colin and I took two cars. We parked one up at Chicataubut, hiked over Great Blue, over the highway (fun footbridge) & across the Ponkapoag area to another car at the golf course. It was L-O-N-G but sooo worth it! 🤩

Funny you ask, the Mister stepped foot into the wooded area near our place for the first time ever last week. Luckily so much snow ticks weren't an issue. 😆 I'd avoid the area otherwise. Ticks--and all other vampire bugs--freak me out!

It definitely was mighty cold that day! We bundled up in fleece lined everything for sure. And seat heaters were our best friend once we got back to the car! 😜🥰🩵

@@natureinminutes Yeah, I'm going to start recording bits of sunrises here for channel B-roll. This time of year has been super gorgeous, although the sunrise is usually really nice every day. I'm on the side of Pisgah, looking straight at Flagstaff. Bear and Broad Mtns are a bit to the left at the sunrise. I can see all the bumps as they disappear into valleys. It's my favorite thing about living in 'appalatch.' 😀

Eveyrone shoots day stuff. Your TL was a great idea. I recently got a #10 ND filter however, and that has been so fun to mess with! Did you film this using a video camera or dslr?

This one was shot on a Sony a6400. I'm not very well versed in the tech side yet but slowly learning. The camera factory lens and an android are as far as I've ventured so far. I'm looking forward to learning all about the tools that help the trade. Looking up that filter, thanks!
