THORNFIELD FARM CAMPING & CARAVANNING YORK SD 480p
Directions from A64 to Thornfield FARM Camping & Caravanning site, near Monks cross. This is an excellent CL site, part of the Camping & Caravan Club network. Only 10mins flat walk to Monks Cross shopping centre and Park n Ride to York centre.

Aire de Camping Car Stella Plage. A good alternative to Le Touquet or when an event is taking place. The aire is just a short walk from the seafront and is in a quiet residential area. Recommended.

Alternative to Le Touquet or when there is an event on. Unfortunately for us, this Aire was full upon arrival and it is the type whereby the barrier will not open when it is full, so we did not stay here.

Approximately 25 minutes drive from Calais Port and Eurotunnel terminal. Safe and away from being hassled. Situated on the quayside and just a few minutes walk to the walled town.

Hello Knaus Kampers, we wish we had to be fair. In addition to this Aire, there is another which is at the other side of the harbour quay but looked to be shared with cars.

this shows coming in from somewhere I do not recognise. I have always come up from Boulogne direction and recognise nothing, which direction is it from?
Hello Graham, this clip is travelling on the A16/E402 from Calais travelling East to West direction as stated at the very start of the footage. If you always come up from the Boulogne direction, you're travelling in the opposite direction to this footage. There are a number of exit junctions off the A16/E402 to get to Cite Europe so if you are used to taking one of those, this route could be a different exit to what you usually use. Hope this helps and will maybe give you a good comparison to your usual route.

Thanks for your comment. I would have thought that the site layout and number of pitches is as per the Caravan & Motorhome Club's agreement with the land owner and any landscaping would be subject to approval by the land owner. I believe that in this case, the land is part of the Sandringham Estate which in turn is a Royal Estate. The site was busy during our visit but where we pitched it didn't seem overcrowded. I can't comment on the landscaping as to me it just seemed a similar layout to any other CC/C&MC club site.
keep up the modern music great
Been to that site very nice and close to keswick for a nice walk out and lovely lake views... but very hard to get on anytime during the summer... hated to the music for this video more suited to a night club or something.. Have you tried castlerigg farm at top of hill in keswick... great little site.
