    First off, thanks for the tutorial. 2nd there is one problem, it works perfect as an assembly alone, but when its imported into another assembly, they do not move. At least i found no solution for that yet. (I will comment if i found a way) Edit: found it 2 seconds later, you have to click on "flexible"

      Which part do you make flexible?

    • @godzillaxtc869
      @godzillaxtc869 2 роки тому

      @@mattgoodstadt2372 The whole Object, you drag it into an Assembly (.iam) then use the part list browser on the left, click on the right mouse button and click on “Flexible”

      @@godzillaxtc869 Thanks. I must be doing something wrong. A complete amateur, if I'm honest.

    Why not use the thread tool?

    • @-lucas-3854
      @-lucas-3854 Рік тому

      because if you wanna print the screw the threads won't show when you import into the 3d software (thread is only a visual thing, so the screw will show plain when you import into the 3d software).

    ua-cam.com/video/N4gZPWgL_cc/v-deo.html i cant create sketch on top of the 3d object, is it any option i dont have turn on?

    thanks! this helps a lot! also its really cool to see different workflows, I normally input my dimensions & angles while I create my sketches, I never thought about constraining & dimensioning the lines after I make them 0:

      I find it easier to get a crude sketch down and then dimension and clean it up afterwards
