Nice
So far you come the closest I have seen to actually providing varied fighting styles. Possibly I've missed this somewhere else, but what I'd love to see are combat styles that are related to the class and race of the NPC, that way a Altmer Archer and a Bosmer Archer would have different animations, a Nord assassin would be different to a Nord Rouge when using the same weapon. NPC followers like Jenassa would be pretty unique in combat as a dual wielding Dunmer, and the same for Ryya being a Redguard, as they would apply a racial fighting style modified by a class attribute (or vice versa) and either dual swords, dual daggers, or one of each. I have no idea if this is even possible due to the number of combos. It would take a lot of animation packs to be divided and regrouped to get the blended animations (Better still if each combat style applied had strengths and weaknesses). Still I hope that one day this will happen rather than having every actor in the game swing a sword and grunt the same way as some sudo-samurai.
Open animation replacer works on conditions. Create the conditions for every animation you include and you can make exactly what you envision. I did it by adding keywords to different weapons so is using what weapon is equipped to determine what animation will play. However....with OAR you can set all kinds of conditions (not just a keyword on a weapon). So read up on Open animation replacer and build what you want. Nothing is impossible. :)
@@nicoroshi Thank you for steering me to OAR and the opportunity it can provide. Like most people I have watched many modding vids but my basic understanding is missing. I didn't know OAR would be able to do this. Now to find some tuts that can train a brick to be a OAR ninja :)

I used hkano tools from skyrimguild that can convert SkySA to MCO to update Stormbringers animations to MCO format. Not sure if that is on moddingguild’s site or Distar’s new site now but maybe guess is google can lead you to it.
Is it possible to mod specific weapon mod with different animation mod? Because sometimes there no patch for it. For example i got ebony blade mod that can change ebony blade from 2 handed sword into one handed sword but i want it to use katana animation movement from animated armoury dar, is that possible?
Yes. Open mod in CK and apply a keyword to the sword the in DAR folder for animations you want apply condition for that keyword.

Don’t like this mod showcase, to over sharpened and looks like ESO. Less is more, skyrim natively looks great but has a very specific style which can change drastically if you change to much.

true....back then. Look up a little mod called VRAMr on the nexus. I was able to get this game to play on less than 12GB of VRAM using it.
Yeah I was actually looking at that one this morning. How long did it take you to run the VRAMr program? Did it effect image quality very much?@@nicoroshi
@@jaggedgargoyle I run wide screen 1440p so 3440 x 1440 resolution. VRAMr quality makes diffuse 2048x2048 and normals 1024x1024. If I got close enough to something that the texture filled more than the screen width it would start to lose resolution but unless you're on a 4K screen you probably won't notice that in normal game play (2K IMHO is enough even at 1440p). If running 1080P it is certainly enough but if struggling with VRAM (10,8,or 6GB cards) run performance (1K diffuse and 512 normals). you probaly won't notice at 1080p but would at 1440p but you should not be trying to run 1440p or higher on a card with that amount of Vram anyway. I run MANY worldspace mods like chanterelle and wyrmstooth and the shire and VRAMr had to do all those textures in addition to Tamriel and my xLODGEN DynDOLOD for all those as well. Took be about 3hours to run both quality and performance outputs.
Awesome that's good to know, thanks for letting me know! Three hours isn't too bad. I don't have any worldspace mods added, but my install size is like 200gb. Sooo many texture mods lol. I was playing at 4K originally, but it was too much even for the 4090 with all these mods, so playing at 1440 now. 1440 with DLAA looks pretty much the same as 4k I've found anyways. Even at 1440 I'm using around 24gb of ram and all 24gb of the vram lol. I think I probably shouldn't have set the dyndolod setting so high though, that might be why it's taking so much extra. My biggest problem still seems to be cpu utilization though. Outside Whiterun I can dip down below 30 in some areas, and my GPU usage goes way down. JK's Whiterun Outskirts combined with Trees in Cities and Nature of the Wild Lands is a pretty intense combo. I might give VRAMr a try, I think it would probably help with stuttering. @@nicoroshi

FSR 3 frame generation went open source not long ago but doesn't work on older DX11 games like Skyrim. This does. I did test the upscaling and the image quality was....well....bad but the frame generation is really good. Where I landed was running Puredark's upscaler for the better AA and to upscale (DLSS) without image degradation then throwing this frame generator on top of it. The output is crisp, clear 3440x1440 at 120-144FPS in a heavily modded Skyrim. Yep...I am smiling. :)

You're not changing the keyword in Bash. You're adding the keyword using the Creation Kit. Use bash to tell you what the number is. then create a custom condition in DAR .

Here’s another option. You can use the CK to set the spawn chance for the Little Rock’s and twigs to 0. Now that we have complex parallax textures the small meshes sitting on top are really no longer needed.

Good news and bad news….. The bad: I wiped my game and downloaded a fresh copy from Steam The Good news: I have learned MO2 and am about 675 mods into recreating this list which I will release as a Wabbajack installer when complete :)

Which mod for grass and trees you use??
break out the notepad LMAO main grass is Folkvangr with summer tundra retexture and Origins of Forest but grasses from Verdant in there and many of the plants from Cathedral (snowberries, Lavender, tundra cotton, and others). Thistle is from 3D trees and landscapes. Trees....(takes deep breath)... Traverse The Ulvenvald, Nature of the Wild Lands, CG4 Woodland, Alpine forest of whiterun valley, 3D trees (select parts...mostly fallen logs, stumps), Timber, Seasonal Aspen trees, the snowy pines are from Skyrim Flora Overhaul, and there is probably some I missed. Check the comments of my latest live stream for plug in list.

Is there any mod that hides those map's line edges with Cloud or smth ? Cuz when u on a high spot place like in this video it breaks immersion
in fact there is. This video was made before I found this. www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/54680 This should be installed and activated ONLY when generating LOD then removed before playing the game but should help with the maps edges. Normally weather isn't always Clear so edges can be natively obscured during normal game play by weather mods.

Sounds like a nice rig! My load order is available in the comments section of my live streams as is a link to my tweaked version of Rudy’s ENB for Obsidian weathers and my Reshade settings. Other than that it’s about not doubling up effects between driver, game engine, and ENB along with optimizing windows and process priority and affinity. I can help and always available to answer questions in my live streams.

I am interested in learning how to find conflicts with SSEedit, fixing/moving stuff with CC, adding that animated Ivy to S3D stonewalls, correct Dyndolod settings for seasons and understanding grass cache, and finally I want to make patches for tree mods as I like a very heavy tree setup. When I get the GPU I will pay you for tutorial vids on this stuff. 👍😎

Hi I want a rapier moveset on the one in lords of coldharbour mod so I install rapier moveset for mco but it applies to all swords too. So my question is how to use the rapier moveset only on this one and not on all the swords ( sorry for my english i'm french)
Open the plug in that adds the Rapier in the Creation Kit and add a new keyword to the model of the Rapier. Then follow this tutorial and set a custom condition in the MCO moveset you want the rapier to use that references that Keyword. Place higher number in DAR or higher priority in OAR. So this way all swords will use the default animation but ONLY swords with the keyword will use the MCO animation for Rapiers.
