    Thank you! I got ripped off selling a coat on Etsy, so I would much prefer having a professional middle-man to deal with this sort of thing. Their commission is well worth the "buffer" they provide.

    Artist don't work with galleries, you're basically working for investors (they call themselves art collectors). Start with stickers, the goal is to learn how to sell. Cut out the middleman.

    How do I stop air bubbles from forming in my pebbles? I make pebbles in little moulds and use frit but I get bubbles in my pebbles.

    • @69mcmikey
      @69mcmikey Рік тому

      To avoid bubbles suggest use a bubble squeeze firing schedule and support the corners of the two layers of glass with little fragments the same glass to allow air out while the fusing is taking place.

    Thanks for this. One query … wonder what you might advice about pseudo name? Reason I’d like to do it, is cause under my main name I’d like one style, but then like to be able to do different styles and genres that is not related. TIA

    Hi Mike, thanks for the tips. I recently had to replace my Toyo glass cutter as the wheel had stopped turning. Any tips on how I keep my new cutter clean and stop this happening in the future? Hoping to visit you again when restrictions are lifted! Catherine

    • @69mcmikey
      @69mcmikey 3 роки тому

      Hello Catherine, haven't experienced that myself! A squirt of penetratiing oil should free it off. Maybe keep the wheel submerged in a splash of light oil when not in use? I resume you're using white spirit or cutting oil in the chamber? One can buy cutter heads as replacements so not necessary to buy a whole new cutter. M
