Now that I am on a longer journey to understand the Jewish culture in these crazy times, what better way then to learn the lingo. My goal is to speak Hebrew as well as Aramaic. As for sheetrock, I am 62 almost 63 and still rockin. God has been very very generous with me in more ways than many, especially forgiveness and so, I learn to honor him and my Jewish brethren even though I am Sicilian American from Brooklyn NY now in Charlotte NC. Thank you for your comments. I hope you continue. I try to use the letters and sounds to give us an idea of the sound the Hebrew word makes and some times we hear and see English words. Later we look at individual words and their meaning.

I have tried to paste a page of meanings of hebrew letters and paleo Hebrew alphabets. It did not work. You might google Dave Petrovich he generated the list. Also Jeff Benner talks a lot about meaning of words generated from the meaning of the individual letters.

With my galaxy Android phone, I googled "Hebrew alphabet charts". The one I used popped up for about $5 as a hard copy, but I scrolled on to images, clicked onto the image I wanted ( it had a bluish highlight ), took a Screen shot, cropped it to size, printed it on 81/2 x11 paper. Or I can text or email it if you send phone or email.

I think I need a phone number or email address to send the alphabet. You could search Google and find one to down load or take a Screen shot and print the image. I'll try.......could not find a way to attach to this comment. Best is email.

Not a rumor. Jesus (Jeshuah) was born in Bethlehem in the city of David (a Jewish king) because he was of the lineage of David. Yes, we would better understand if we tried to understand scripture with a Jewish mind set in the cultural setting of the period of writing not western 21st century.

Yes. Interesting. Some Hebrew letters(5) have 2 sounds indicated with a dot. For simplicity I am not using the dot and just allowing either pronunciation. ב = b or v, כ =k or ch, פ = p or f, ש = s or sh, ת = t or th.

Since your comment I have been searching for a book. Found it. A Geocentricity Primer by Gerardus D. Bouwmeester, Ph.D., Biblical Astronomer Cleveland, 1999. If you can find it I'm sure you will find it interesting. Some chapters include, Motions of the world, motions of the earth, Joshua's long day, firmament etc . About 170 pages. By the way AMEN אמן can mean pillar.

@@Richard-nn4du Yes. The Bible describes the earth exactly opposite then the atheist men of science/scientism. The Bible clearly describes earth as a spread out plane and scientism teaches opposite that earth is a ball. The Bible states earth is firm and immovable whilst scientism teaches it's spinning faster than bullet at equator. My dictionary is Webster' Collegiate 1960 Edition. Concordance is Strong's KJV. Most of the time the images in the lessons are from Mysword (electronic free download) which has Hebrew and Greek dictionaries which are based on the Strong's book. Thank you for your question.

The Christian's bibles are just very badly mistranslated and corrupted versions of the Torah/Tanach (The Real Word of G_d) with a lot changed including names, a whole lot added, and a whole lot taken out. Everything that G_d said not to do, Christianity did! Christianity lies! NO Hebrew/Jew was ever named Jesus, nor John, nor especially James. There is no letter J in the Hebrew alephbet nor does any of the Hebrew letters even make a J sound. Try actually reading the scriptures where G_d gave the Torah and the Commandments to Mosche and the Children/Nation of Israel on Mt. Sinai. G_d specifically told them in no uncertain terms that neither they nor any of their descendents all through time are to Never veer to the right nor left of the Torah/Tanach! Never!!! Do you understand what that means? G_d also told them in no uncertain terms that neither they nor any of their descendents all through time are to Never accept anybody else's religion! Never!!! Do you understand what that means? The One True Creator G_d also warned not to add to, nor subtract from the Torah/Tanach, but Christianity did it anyway. Christianity adopted way too many idolatrous and pagan beliefs contrary to what The One True Creator G_d actually said. The One True Creator G_d specifically said in no uncertain terms that there is Only One G_d! And besides G_d there is NO OTHER SAVIOR! Christians are a blind people who have eyes and deaf ones who have ears! @terryulmer969 the Tanakh does speak about the savior that will ne coming. It was predicted in the old testament. And if you don't know this then you must learn the scriptures better. Or your heart is full of hatred and it won't let you see the truth. But don't worry about the Christians because the Lord will allow 144,000 Jews into heaven. How many Jews are there on earth right now? And how many in the past? Nut Christians, it doesn't say how many will be there. But it does say that alot of Christians think they will make it but they won't and I know why. But you don't have to worry about that because there is a place for 144,000 Jews. 12,000 from each tribe. And I will agree with you about there is no J in the Jewish language and there is no Jesus. That is the Greek translation. That's why I have a Jewish Christian Bible. I'm trying to learn Hebrew. It is a very difficult language. And yes the English Bible's have been mistranslated and not only mostranslated but they changed the wording because they were trying to keep the reasoning in a different way of saying the same thing. That's why I look for translations that are before 1611 and translated into English. This is when they started to change the word for word meanings because Hebrew is spoken in a different way than English is spoken. In Hebrew you write from right to left where as English is from left to right. So just the basic way of writing is opposite. This is why I got an Jewish Christian Bible. So I can learn more about the culture and the names of the people in the Bible are written in their original names and not translated in Greek then English. Plus Jews don't use vowels in their language. So the Jewish language is very complicated. I doubt that I will ever be fluent enough to just carry on conversations with Jews. Not to mention that even the way that the ancient Jewish writing was different than the modern-day way of writing. It's kind of like in English we can print or write in cursive. And in school they don't even really teach the young kids how to write in cursive anymore. And from what I understand is that the modern-day Jews are different from the older Jewish people. And I don't mean the different secs either. But the way you live is different. And I don't mean on modern houses either. So I will be cautious about exactly what it is that I'm learning as in your culture.

When the Real Messiach comes, he will be a normal man from the line of David through Solomon and will sit on the throne of David and rule from there forever. *Obviously, that hasn't happened yet! 2. When the Real Messiach comes, it will be at the End of Days. * Obviously, back then was not the End of Days! 3. When the Real Messiach comes, the Temple will be rebuilt never to be destroyed again, and The Messiach will start the animal sacrifices in the Temple again. * The opposite happened back then! The very fact that the Temple isn't standing proves that the so-called "Jesus" is Not The Messiach! 4. When the Real Messiach comes, Everyone around the world (including atheist) will know that he is The Messiach! * We KNOW that the so-called "Jesus" is Not The Messiach! 5. When the Real Messiach comes, death will cease to exist. * Obviously, that hasn't happened yet either because so many people are still getting sick and dying. 6. When the Real Messiach comes, there will be World Peace and weapons of war will be rebuilt into farming implements. * We're still waiting for that one!!! 7. When the Real Messiach comes, Everyone around the world, from every language will grab the Jews and say "Now we know that we have inherited only lies and G_d has been with you Jews all along. Please 🙏 take us with you!" * We're still waiting for that one, too!!! No where in the Torah/Tanach does it ever say that the Messiach will keep failing and have to come back again and again. According to Christianity, the so-called "Jesus" already came back a second time, but he still never fulfilled any of those Prophecies about the Real Messiach. So now Christians are waiting for a third coming. Christianity strikes out again!

Nee heel weinig, hij komt bij mij niet duidelijk over,spreekt moeilijk, Hebrew is niet iets wat ik als taal spreek ,hij zegt woorden die mij iets anders laat horen maar zeker steek je wel iets van op maar blijft moeilijk
