Absolutely. I use it for commuting mostly. Cruise control, ergonomics, torquey engine, high riding position (great vision) and a tight turning circle I would say are its best day to day life plus-points. If I was going to use it for touring exclusively (4+hour rides), then I would probably change the seat.

@@oOKAMAKAYAOo it's the CRF isn't it? 1100 is a bit big for my needs. Pity they don't do a mid range machine. Don't like the look of the cb500x.

Correct. There is also the Transalp, but if you don't like the look of the cb500x, you won't like the look of the transalp, then you have to go all the way down to the cfr300 which is gutless. Honda have left a big gap in the market.@@garystevens4303

@@oOKAMAKAYAOo excellent I’ve ridden quite a few of the roads around the general area. I’m originally from Taranaki and working in Palmie now I thought it looked round this sort of general type of area but some parts of Australia can look very similar too

This is incorrect, the owners manual states to check slack measurements on center stand.

No it doesn’t. Page 87 of the Honda VFR750F RC36 service manual states; Turn the engine off, place motorcycle on the side stand and shift the transmission into neutral. Check slack in the drive train lower run midway between the sprockets.

@@rstmg60 yes it does, please refer page 72 of owners manual. It states to place motorcycle on center stand. I have looked at the service manual as well and you're right that it says to check on side stand. So up to you I guess. I think I'm going to stick with the easy way :)

You press taunt as the first taunt connects (note I have taunt buffered the whole time so i just hold 3+4 and press 1 when taunt connects) If you time it correctly you get a double taunt. To get a triple taunt you connect another taunt during the second taunt hit. Timing is strict though. Theoretically you can loop infinite taunts this way, but in practice it would be too difficult.
