Lift to 8' and no floating bollards.

This was our first lock on our adventure of living off-grid on our Houseboat Waterbug. I'm so grateful that the Lock Master was incredible he was very nice and helped make it a smooth and easy time! We are heading to Kentucky Lake for the Winter, many Miles of fun and adventure await, join us as we head south. Day 2 second leg of the journey another 15 miles in 5 hours. We left Prescott this morning and heading down the Mississippi River! We anchored off shore overlooking a small bluff with eagle's on the ridge of it and two railroad tracks, it was absolutely gorgeous! St. Croix River to Prescott

The first leg of our journey we left Bayport and headed out on the St. Croix River, through Afton, Landland and St. Croix lake to Prescott. We traveled 15 miles in 5 hours had an amazing first day! We made it, all the hard work this morning By Donovan, Debbie ,Ben and Dustin to get this beast named Waterbug afloat has paid off! Waterbug splashed into Anderson Bay, just off the St. Croix River on October 19th 2024! We tested our Houseboat Waterbug at Lake pesobic in Merrill, Wi now we are loading up and heading for Bayport, MN to Launch our Houseboat Waterbug! We are going to travel on the River ways of America's Heartland and live off-grid on our Houseboat Waterbug join us for fun adventures and beautiful scenery it's going to be awesome! No, its a glacier rock formations.
@@Waterbug-01 .... Looks like a bedrock outcrop, not glacial erratics. Have lots of places like this in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont, especially in the northern parts of the states. From the joint (fracture) pattern, I'd guess it's likely granite.

I live very close to a few of the marinas on the Ten-Tom waterway. I can highly recommend it as they have some great marinas and its beautiful scenery.

Hire someone with a lowboy trailer. Once we are on the river, I won't need a trailer.
