hello, i am quite keen to create a representation of the tree of life but i would like to use the brown leaves that have fallen. it is spring here in south africa. i would like to preserve some so as to keep until i have save up for paints, brushes and canvas. also which kind of paint is suitable to paint the leaves?

These are beautiful!! I just want to know are they preserved for a long time with that shiny finish u used or do they shrivel up after a few weeks??
Hi there. These have lasted for years. You just need to keep them out of direct sunlight and they will last a very long time. You need to use a dried gourd to start with, so be sure you have the correct type of gourd.
This is beautiful. I only wish you gave the measurements for the piece of burlap cloth. Otherwise great video, beautiful arrangement. 😍
