Looked like great food but was about 30% higher than it SHOULD have been. Would have loved to have seen a scallop dish.

You guys did Meece Mill in Pickens. You need to do Haygood Mill in Pickens too. It’s open on the 3rd Saturday every month and it’s a working grist mill. Also, visit the Wednesday morning flea market in Pickens. You have to go early for that one because it’s pretty much over by noon. I have a ton of local suggestions if y’all need some.

The funny thing is many years ago all the printed media for Disney on ice was printed in Chattanooga TN. The printer is gone now but it was impressive going in and seeing literal tons of print media. You guys ought to come to the Chattanooga area sometime :)

Only $20 for a large pizza?!?!? Wow! Thats great! Our last large where we live in Michigan was $45!! Papa John’s is throughout our area in Michigan too but very “run of the mill” nothing exciting. It’s wonderful to support privately owned pizza joints! Glad you found a new place that’s not a corporate giant! I’m hoping they will offer lots of veggie toppings for us meatless pizza lovers too!

This looks like a cute place! We will likely not eat there as the menu isn’t what we typically would choose. I think moving to GVL (from north of Detroit) will be a bit of food shock! Menus seem to rely on lots of fried foods and meats! It’s nice to see you both enjoy your outings so much!

Hi! It’s me again- new subscriber binging on your channel! Out of the 12 restaurants I ate at in GVL this past June (2024), Passeral (and Cantina 76) were the only bad ones! I was terribly disappointed with the croissants and fruit! I had the same experience at you did with the fruit and the croissants were AWFUL! In the future go to the two French bakeries on Main (West End) and you’ll have amazing croissants! Especially the Olde Worlde place which is very authentic! Thanks for the walking tour of the Falls on the Reedy. I walked it every day for all seven days I was there!

The Mexican restaurant you passed on Main Street is EXCELLENT! Much much better than Cantina 76 and truly authentic style even serving Molé sauce! Cantina is more like a place you’d see in a college campus and very bland food. Just my and a friends opinion!

I just subscribed to your channel after viewing the downtown Greenville Part I and II. (I left a comment there about a couple of restaurants I ate at). I’m thinking you may want to check hours before your tour these tiny towns! LOL! Thanks for the peek into this little town!

I noticed you didn’t mention the restaurant “Curean.” I was wondering if it was still there as I ate there this past June and had wonderful food! I think it was near Pomegranate. Is it still open? Also, Coral has a lovely fish/seafood focus and very delicious food and cocktails. Higher priced but worth it!
