How To Make Your Plants' Leaves Shine With Egg White
Today, I have something exciting to share with you all. In today's video, I'll be taking you on an experimental journey, where I explore a unique method to make my plant leaves shine using... egg white.
I'll narrate my experience in experimenting with egg white as a leaf shine. To begin this experiment, I gathered the necessary material, such as fresh eggs, a bowl, a whisk, a clean cloth, a spray bottle, and water. After cracking the eggs, I separated the egg whites from the yolks, as the whites contained a protein called albumin, which is responsible for most of the leaf-shining properties.
Next, I diluted the egg white with water, maintaining a ratio of approximately 1 part egg white to 2 parts water. This step was essential to ensure that the egg white was not too concentrated and would be gentle on the leaves.
To achieve a homogeneous solution, I whisk the diluted egg white thoroughly. This ensures that the egg white and water are adequately combined.
I poured the diluted mixture into a clean spray bottle to apply the egg white solution effectively. The spray bottle allowed for easy and uniform solution distribution on the plant leaves.
After misting, I took a soft, clean cloth and gently rubbed the leaves to spread the egg white solution more evenly. This step also helped remove any excess solution, preventing the leaves from becoming sticky.
Carefully, I misted the egg white solution onto the surface of my Sensation plant's leaves, ensuring that each one received a fair share of the newfound treatment.
While applying the egg white solution to my plants /I began to notice that foliage of my plants /has undergone a remarkable metamorphosis.
They now gleam and glimmer, as if a leaf has been kissed by the morning dew.
And there you have it - an all-natural leaf shine using egg whites!

    I put seeds in the ground around five years ago, and haven’t seen anything. Is there anything else I should have done?

    • @THESELFTAUGHTGARDENER71
      @THESELFTAUGHTGARDENER71 Рік тому

      Hi Harley.There are several reasons why you haven't seen any growth from your ginseng seeds you planted. Here are few possibilities: 1.Seeds quality. Maybe the seeds you planted were old,damaged or not properly stored. 2.Another reason is unsuitable growing condition.Ginseng prefers shaded area with moist, well-drained soil that is rich in organic matter. 3. Pest or disease damaged.Certain pest or diseases can affect ginseng seeds causing them to fail to germinate. 4.Incorrect planting depth.Ginseng seeds are typically sown shallowly usually no deeper than 1/2 inch (1.3cm) I hope I as able to answer your question.Thank you for watching.

    How do I harvest the seeds from the budda plant? When is it ready to harvest?

    • @THESELFTAUGHTGARDENER71
      @THESELFTAUGHTGARDENER71 2 роки тому

      Honestly, I never tried harvesting seeds from my buddha belly plant.But based on my researched the right time to harvest seeds is when the flowers start to ripen. Then you may tie a cloth bag in the capsule (flowers) and wait the seeds pod to explode. Then if all the seeds pod already exploding remove the seeds from cloth bag then sow the seeds in a moist soil.
