    I have a checking, money market, and savings account. Which account does ally use for the investing?

      I use what Ally calls a Robo investing account, which is like a combination of it being managed by a computer and an actual person. You can set up the account in different ways based on your goals. Check out Ally's website if you're interested, they make it pretty easy to set up and explain the steps along the way.

    Thank you for the video, how has your portfolio set up by Ally been performing? Has Ally been making adjustments?

    • @JakeShirleyCoaching
      @JakeShirleyCoaching 2 місяці тому

      Ally does adjust the portfolio now and then, by buying and selling, which they notify me about by email. As for performance, it's hard to say. Unfortunately I don't have as much invested in my account as I used to. I'm going to talk about the reason for that in an upcoming series soon.

      @@JakeShirleyCoaching Thank you for that, appreciate the information. Tempted to give it a try, but nervous about how they would make adjustments given major moves in the market.

      @@fragile1976 In the video I show the four types of portfolios. I have the first one, Core. It is more diversified and I think it's more for long-term investing, so the adjustments are small, at least in my experience. You can also set your own risk tolerance.
