After this video I have been using shuttle control which works great (just make sure everything is updated, there where some issues early on) Euro + OPZ setup is very powerful (yet pricy) Personally, I have moved away from the setup because if I'm arranging something precise its usually cheaper and faster to do it on the iPad, while eurorack excels at wild exploration so I chose to get some more abstract gear there that doesn't fit into the OP-Z X0X Mindset

Philip Rogers thanks man! It's a weird one. Difficult to explain because there are a couple of ways you can transpose in the app, if you set an alt input to do transpose it does that whole in-key transposition thing (this is what is happening in the patch and im controlling the ranges of the modulation with the left-hand mixer)

Philip Rogers generally if you're looking to do any manner of transposing/quantizing in eurorack you can't go wrong with the OC, I use it to organize a whole mess of random values into melodic compositions both live and at home (check out Crying Sun, the latest in my random adventures)

Thanks for the reply! I’m just now getting into Eurorack and I’m thinking through what type of setup I want to start with. Sounds like an O_C is definitely going to be in that first group of modules.

Philip Rogers I wouldn’t go crazy over planning every single detail, the full significance of a module often isn’t apparent until it’s in the rack, oc is a safe bet though, I really love it
