Lexus GX470 vs RED CONE gate keeper
Переглядів 4223 роки тому
Mostly stock GX470 with no lockers testing toyota A-TRAC system in RED CONE trail. It started little rough, I damaged the passenger rear wheel and valve stem at the gate keeper(First attempt). We had to leave my truck at the trailhead(I did not have AT 33" spare) . We did a quick stop at the tire shop and not long after we went back to trail and completed the whole thing. Trail was so much fun ...

This is my third time flying a drone with Mavic Mini. Still, there is a lot to learn when flying and taking a video at the same time. I did some little color grading using Davinci Resolve 16. I'm also very new to video editing so you might not find it perfect. Please subscribe to see more DJI Mavic mini videos and also check out my improvements. :) Enjoy the video!! #DJI #MAVICMINI #DRONE Thank...

Does the Gen 2 solara backseat uprights work in the Gen 1 solara convertibles
20a is junk, use the 160 roki filter instead
Metal shavings, yuck. Now I’m concerned.
Manual doesn’t mention oil change after a 1000 miles.
@rundix3351 Yes, it's not required, but changing the oil early after the break-in period extends the life of the engine.
@@batuaerial213 OK, I’ll have to look into this, because I have about 500 on mine.
Yeah I just bought my sport 3 days ago, I’m gonna do this too at 1000 I have about 70 right now
@ITME.1 by the ez drain oil valve or the fumuto oil valve. Makes oil changes so much easier, no mess. When you take that drain plug off, be ready, it comes out fast and hard.
Thank u for doing this video
Есть ли расход масла и какой. Как часто меняете? Вопрос. Какая максимальная температура масла у вас была при движении? И какая температура масла допустима? У нас все бояться увидеть температуру масла выше 115 градусов цельсия.
No oil consumption so far. I change the oil every 6k miles. Highest I ever seen was around 230 F. (110 C) - (Driving thru mountain range)
Nice job on changing your oil out at the 1000 mile break in mark. Do it again at the 3000 mark, and then every 3000 miles thereafter. Your car will last a very long time.
Crazy how thin the oil is. Just did one the ther day.
I assumed with the ground clearance, you wouldn't need to jack it
You don't.
Thank you sir
do you happen to have any recommendations for a direct replacement for the subwoofer? I assume its 2 ohm?
thanks so much for showing this video.... I blew the subwoofer on my wife's 2008 SLE convertible today (48k original miles, no accidents)
is it legal? cause im trying to find a place to ride
Would be better without the annoying music
Thanks for the feedback
Please do more general crosstrek maintenance services.
Informative. Didn't know you should change the oil around the 1000 mile mark. I've always bought used until now. Loving this car.
This exact car is a lot of our first brand new cars, love mine too!
What he did guys ?
Loru
What oil did you use? Weight and brand? Thanks!!! Very informative video!!!

@@batuaerial213 , Sorry I missed it! Thanks!!!
Thank you guys!!!
Thanks for the great video! Do you happen to know the washer size? I still need to grab one from the hardware store.
Thanks. I'm not sure about the size. I purchased from the dealership with the oil filter.
very good job of making the video and showing each step. the cameraman waas able to show clearly what was being done. thank you. wish you guys the best.
I always do the first oil change under 1K miles in case of metal
So cute
How do you keep your engine compartment so clean?!?! Wow!!!
Lol because car is brand new?
@@batuaerial213 Then you need to get it dirty, bro! ⛰🏕
Couple of comments. So when did Subaru start recommending 0W-16 oil? My 2 Foresters and now Outback use 0W-20. I assume you pre loosened the blue filter otherwise it seemed to come off extremely easily. And did you oil the rubber gasket on the new one? As for tightening the new filter, I think they call for 3/4 rotation once it makes contact. I find hand tightening isn’t quite enough. One last thing; I’ve reused the oil drain gasket, no problem.
0W-16 is the recommended for the new 2024 Crosstrek. 0W-20 for older models.
@@mariovazquez3874 OK, thanks. Didn’t realize that. My brother in law just took delivery of a ‘24 Forester . Will check with him about that too.
That’s actually how an oil filter should come off. Most people over tighten them. Some brands have it printed on the side. Screw on until the gasket makes contact and then another 1/2-3/4 turn. You should not be using any sort of filter wrench or anything to tighten it.
I just had my first oil change at a Valvoline and they only ended up using 4.0 quarts of ow-16. I’m worried this isn’t enough oil although they showed me the dipstick says full
I put around 4.7
They didn't let all the old oil drain out some of these places put plug back in with a pinky size stream still running out
Seeing this video after starter completely stopped working makes me sad.
We almost purchased one in 2020, but ultimately passed in favor of Toyota. We decided against Subaru and Honda because of their choice of using CVT transmissions. I will not buy a vehicle with one of those transmissions. I know if they are serviced every 25k-30k they can last, but they feel aweful to me so I had to go with Toyota. I am glad Subaru is using Toyotas D4-S Injection system now though it will save your engine valves from carbon build up:P
Toyota is way too go when it comes to reliability for sure. I personally own Lexus GX, we wanted to give it try to Subie and time will take how reliable they are. I like CVTs for daily driving because how smooth and efficient they are. I know Toyota makes to best Cvts and but I haven't heard bad things on Subaru cvts much.
You must not have bought the Rav... That thing drives like a low end go cart
The CVT in the Subarus are actually pretty good. Definitely something to get used to they are not for everybody. Now if you were looking at a CVT in a Nissan I would tell you to run away and don't look back 😂
@@Steven91992 Problems Nissan had have gotten better. The biggest problem was them telling customers the transmission was sealed and did not need servicing. People that serviced their Nissan CVT's actually had good luck from them. I got a cousin with a Maxima with 200k miles, but he serviced it every 25k-30k miles and stayed on top of it. Any company that tries to increase service times and mileage are interested in one thing selling you a new tranny or engine down the road.
Where is the drain plug???
At 2:52 minute mark
LOL! I think he means "where is it on the car." Try 0:45. Note the metal plate just aft of the opening through which you reach the oil drain plug. That's the lifting point. @@batuaerial213
Question. How do you put backseat covers on without taking seat out? 2004 Toyota Solaris. Also why do they keep calling it a camery?? Lol.
It is
Very nice footage. DJI Mavic Mini good choice :)
How long does this trail run for?
Very helpful video. Instead of explaining the problem to the shop it’s in, I sent them this video. Lol
Will 02 seats fit in an 05
It helps if you wiggle the wheel left and right and hold the key down gently.
I've been through 5 starters and have 120k miles!!! What the heck.
Get better brand starter, or just stay away from Honda and buy Toyota/Lexus products
My car is doing the same exact thing!!!! Every time I take to the mechanic, it starts just fine till I leave and then it does that! 😡
Well now you know the problem! :)
@@batuaerial213 I replaced the starter two days ago and it starts like a new car, no hesitations whatsoever! I paid a steep $670 to have it replaced.....I'm guessing the price was inflation adjusted.🤔
These are great views. Very good overall panorama. Thanks.👌👏😉👍
Still can ride out there
So cute 🥺
