Where do I read? Usually in my bed like a beached walrus. What kind of books do you like to read? The kind with words and pictures. No, seriously. I'll give anything a try, but usually I'll try a little harder if those words are put together by a strong writer (examples: Saunders, Baldwin, Tartt, Vonnegut, Atwood, Dick, Butler, O'Brien, July, Diaz, Danticat, etc.) or if there are aliens involved.

Massive Book Haul Dec/Jan

I had another channel but I'm done with that! I was even more of a mess on that one. I am here to christen my new channel with a big book haul full of rambling and nonsense. Stay tuned for a graphic novels haul and a book buying site review!
Hey, thank you for posting the review. Just finished this book and it is my favorite book of the year so far. I know I'm a little late to the game, but I really enjoyed not just the writing style, but the themes explored from. Isolation and insecurity to themes about people, pleasing and social anxiety, as well as trauma, sexuality, love, parenthood, childbirth, adoption, death, loss, well-being, physical health, and more. I don't like to be a critic, but I felt like this video review was dissatisfying. Mounted to not much more than four minutes and endorsement poorly wrapped in a very large lack of direction and conciseness. I'm searching for reviews on this book because I crave discussion and analysis , I think your review would've been better if you would have transcribed this video, edited the transcription and found a strongest focus points you felt would've been important to communicate not only potential readers, but to those who have also read the book. It seems like you have a dynamic and entertaining personality, this video could've been a bit more engaging and entertaining and informative if it had been given more time and attention. Thank you so much for making the review, I'll look forward to watching a video review again if in the future, you have read and reviewed a novel that I am interested in seeing a review for. Thanks again and I hope you understand that my critique of your review has constructive intentions
You should show the artwork more.
I adore Wasteland, it is one of my all time fave post apocalyptic series:)
We are so much alike as far as graphic novel tastes. I too own Umbral (love love love Christopher Mittens artwork) and I own Chronicles of Hate(cant wait to own volume 2).
I am so loving your channel, will you be posting any more videos soon?
Groom Lake was okay, I only liked it because of Ben Templesmith's illustrations.
It looks like 4 Hastings Execs thumbs down your video. I did shipping for Hastings for 8 years, and know how inconsistent products and packaging can be. First, quality of products can very based on what locals sell back to us. I didn't send damaged things out unless told to, replaced packaging, and added extra bubble wrap if need be. Then again my main job is selling on Amazon, so I just used the same standards. Different associates at the same store can have vastly different levels of sense or care. Sometimes shipping supplies are scarce. At the same time, if you order during a ridiculous sale, you're still ahead even if 1 out of 5 items go wrong.
Where do you buy your graphic novels may I ask?
I really want to read Saga! It looks awesome!
so you live in australia? cause i want to know so badly where u got the books! 3 DOLLARS MAX!!!!!
how much did it cost? You said it was REALLY cheap so I'm curious :o
Would love this to be AMSR, as random as that sounds
Awesome list
I love comic haul videos like this where I see some books I didn't know about. I'll be getting the Showa books after seeing how big they are. Thanks!
Great tbr! I should give horror a try this month. The closest thing I've read to this genre was Demon A Memior. Not sure if it was suppose to be scary but it scared me.
So glad I found your channel. I'm searching for booktubers who read more than YA. Welcome to booktube! I'm subbing!
+FreeFormLady Yeah, I had trouble with that search as well. Thanks for subbing!
Your taste in books is dope. The Wrenchies is a pretty dark story but I really dig the art style. Sex Criminals is a really awesome story...it's a really interesting commentary on libraries, sex, and mental illness. Saga, of course, is incredible. Vaughn and Staples are a wonderful creative team. You should check out Vaughn's Ex-Machina which I think isn't as well known or regarded but should be.
Watching your videos creeps me out a bit because you look just like me, have the same speech pattern, and mannerisms as me.
+Diannime LOL That's weird as hell. I don't come across a lot of people who look like me. Thanks for watching still!
Nice haul! Some interesting things to look out for, especially "The Best of Al Possible Worlds." :)
Stephanie Crawford Thanks for watching!
Lovely video 😘😃😃
