We suggest getting the following information from your client: 1) Reference images or rough sketches of the garment they want to design 2) Their target customer's sizing. For example, are they making a product for tall or petite women? 3) A sizing chart from a different brand they would like to refer to (if applicable). 4) Their fabric/color preferences and target costs. Ideally, a client would have done some research before hiring you, but sometimes these things are figured out during the design process. Good luck on your new adventure!

Hi Syeda! Tol(+) and (-) means the sizing tolerance of a measurement. In other words, it's the allowable limit of variation in a garment measurement. For example, a size tolerance at the chest is plus or minus 1". If the requested size at the chest is 50", then the smallest allowable size is 49" and the largest allowable size is 51". Go find on Google "tech pack making sources". The absolute best is Adobe Illlustrator. You can make literally the best Tech Pack in that program, however that'll cost time and money. You shouldn't rush making a Tech Pack, since that is will be YOUR OWN PRODUCT... This 5 minuten video doesnt mean nothing, you'll probably spend around 3 weeks or maybe a few months when you finally you made your own Tech pack.

You don't buy a tech pack, you can hire a designer with relevant experience to make a tech pack for you. You would just need to provide the designer with clear details of what you want. Making a tech pack does not take 3 weeks or months to make. It should only take a few hours max if you have someone who KNOWS what they are doing. You can find an experienced designer on a site called upwork.
