I was an addict for 7 years. 1.5 years ago I got clean, found god and I had a good year. 6 months ago I became sick with a chronic mystery illness. Right before my daughter was born. It is debilitating. What can I do? Why would this happen to me when I am SOBER.

So basically I want to play these games but I feel uneasy about it. The thing is I know that it will not negatively affect me or become an idol. It would only be good for me to get with my friends again and and have fun and relax

Just play bingo or Candy Crush idk. Video game are just fiction. So the answer is no. It's not bad for anyone. It's only bad when it becomes an addiction. If people are worried if its so bad for them, might as well play no games, read no books except for the bible, watch no shows, no movies. Consume no media, just to be safe.

People have done some messed up things for religion 😅, and yes I know it's not all of them. Just like video games are not bad it all depends on the individual.

Working in the er I see how marijuana really affects people and the increase in cannabis induced psychosis has gone up and so has depression and suicide. Companies that produce pot spray random chemicals into it and cross them with other plants which is contributing to it . Also I think people who smoke pot process information slower as it kills brain cells and is making people dumber. Save ur brains yall

Man, I try to live my life as a follower, I practice the religion, I’ve read through the Bible, still read it too… absolutely wonderful book. But I just can’t shake the fact that I just don’t fully believe God is real. I feel like it just helps me keep my life in line more so than anything.

I think video games are fine until they become more important than God himself. For example, I think it is bad if you would rather play video games than go to Church. This is also kind of like the First Commandment when it says that you should have no other gods before Me. If video games are more important than worshipping God and you put video games before worshipping the Lord, I think you need to take a break from video games and heal your relationship with God. Just my thoughts though. :)

I love how you incorporate Jesus in fortnite! I love playing it and sometimes its hard to find the Lord in this game with all the hard-hearted people. So lovely to see this type of content!
