I thought it was against the school rules to get out at the wrong time stop without a letter from home. My son was almost picked up by police because of that. He got home first and told me what happened on the bus that day. Next thing I know there was a cop at my door yelling at my son for getting off that bus at the wrong place, he was suspended from school for three days for that. This is so wrong to do to anyone. This bus driver needs to go to jail

My heart breaks for this little girl and the family. That driver needs to be in jail. I'm nearly 50 now, but I got on the wrong bus once after the first day of school in elementary school. The bus driver was done with the route and there I was. I told her I saw my stop, but she passed it. She siad no problem, told me the correct bus route number for the next day and drove me to my stop.

As a school bus driver for 30 years, if I had treated a student (even a black student) like that I would have been immediately dismissed and the video would have been provided to the police and county attorney for prosecution. What sort of school district is this? I would guess that this school district might have a history of lawsuits.

I find it incredible that a human being could be so cruel to a child. What the hell was he thinking? Any normal person would stop and help the child, contact dispatch and tell them to call parents. Just unbelievable! I pray the little girl will recover and not have any permanent affects.

These bus drivers need to be kind and courteous to the children. I've said many times that there needs to be a bus driver assistant and eye witness with dropping children off at the bus stop or driving them back to school and making sure that the children are safe. I'm sad for this little girl who feels that the school bus is not safe!!! Common we can do better!

If a child misses their stop there’s procedures in place for this. They just call the school. & go back to the school and drop the child off for the parents to pick them up. I comment of a lot of thing, but in this case there needs to be a "fact finding" of actual events. Some kids are obnoxious to bus drivers and feel they are entitled to their whims. This may or may not be the case, but this case needs the facts.

WTF. Seriously, WTF. How does a person not get charged for intentionally causing injuries to a child. My son fell asleep on the bus a few times. Never. I mean never have they ever had a thought of harming my son. All can a person who has a functional brain can come to the conclusion of is the bus driver is a sack of turds and everyone who was involved in the charges being dropped absolutely hate children and condone violence against children. The bus driver, school district, everyone who didn't fire him are equally as guilty. Child abusers deserve extremely long jail sentences, that includes the people who allow it to happen. There's no excuse EVER for a child to be harmed intentionally by an adult and there's even less of an excuse for the court to condone it. Shame on everyone that allows that poor excuse of a human to not be punished.
