This worked for me. I waas having the issue with The Great Circle and Cyberpunk 2077. I had to do this twice though, because I mistakenly did not follow the instructions exactly.

Unfortunately, this didn't work for me 4090RTX Asus TUF. I followed every step, including changing game settings. Every game says "This system doesn't support optimization" and no longer includes any game settings (which was probably part of cache/registration deletion). Unless you have any other suggestions I hope Nvidia fixes this with a subsequent update!
I'm unsure. Thats a different error than I've seen anyone report so far. Almost sounds like a driver conflict. Some people have said in the comments that it took awhile to work, others used the other video with it... There's so many specific unknowns. What else I find nuts is this has been an issue for a LONG time, different fixes come up, but they screw it up again.
And and hats off to the 4090! I love my TUF 4080s.
@@KingG13 Yeah, to be fair it DID remove the "unable to retrieve settings" message just no game optimization functionality return. I did what I could by submitting a bug report through the app and on the Nvidia forum into the driver version thread.
Greetings, good afternoon, I want to change my monitor, and I don't know whether to choose, this alieware or the LG 34GS95QE-B, could you give me recommendations?
On that I believe it comes down to refresh rate desired. The AW is 165 vs 240. I do wish I had higher FPS for some games, but the AW is known for more accurate colors.

Did you use Revo? DDU doesn't clean up all the files leftover.
@ Yes. On the Nvidia forums it's been determined this is a server-side issue and that nothing we can do actually will fix it, so even if cache is wiped or re-applied during the install, an active internet connection means the issue will return. All we can do is wait for Nvidia to solve the problem.
I restart my computer multiple times a day and it hasn't returned. 🤷
@ Yeah it seems some people are unaffected by it, lots of folks are assuming it's hardware combos that are responsible.

It worked! Thanks for this.But i fo have a doubt. After foing this i got the message that a new driver update is available. Should I do it or wait for sometime. I don't want it to get the error again.
It all depends if you want to do it again if it breaks it again... The hot fix is for two games from what I've read and not related to the error.

What error are you receiving?
TBH this fix is what I recommend to others that the other fix doesn't resolve. Sometimes the combination of the two is what works for people.

This solution worked for me when several others did not, so thank you. However now whenever I try to sign in to the NVIDIA App it says "Login is not available right now." I can't believe how many issues I've encountered since they transitioned to an app instead of Experience.
I've heard the servers are suffering. I would assume for to recent hardware launch. Even though only like 1k people got one.

THE ONLY THING THIS VIDEO SUGGESTS IS DELETE THE CACHE FOLDER AND REINSTALL, does not work, because its NVIDIA SERVERS that are failing to connect 2nd. I just woke up, its early in the morning. You make me either need coffee, or go back to sleep, So stale

Didn't work for me :/ I don't know if it is because I have my games in a different disk from C or what, but games that worked before doesn't now
Is EVERYTHING updated? Gamepass etc. Many others don't have this problem after yesterday.
Also, I have another video that people have had success after doing both.
