No worries mate you can fix it 👍 some good gules on the market now some of the new super gules are brilliant and you can get second hand fixing that you can make to fit
just been looking at my spare fairing not happy broken headlight mount dont remember thats two knackered fairings lol
hi drew with the gpz decals i removed mine with using a hair dryer instead of a heat gun it took a while but worked,i havent forgot about the picture of mine you asked for havent got round to it at the mo as my copd has kicked my arse more than normal, cheers paul t.
Hi buddy yer I have used a heat gun before I did not want to melt the plastic as my one is a bit hot when it gets going

i have the same problems at the mo with health/money did a bit on my carbs have found all sorts of horrors from previous owners,and the electrics are a bit dodgy i have another zed with better bits on it so could be engine swap time lol
if you have amazon they do a very nice tail tidy for the 500s not sure of price though.

I’ve lost count how many I’ve cleaned over the years, get the crud out with a small flathead then a little paint brush & fresh fuel then lastly the compressor… never failed me.
Looks ready for the tip mate that needs a top to bottom rebuild
Hi thanks for the comment it will all be rebuilt at some point buddy the wiring is the biggest problem as someone has cut and replaced bits it's just a bit of fun for me bud the engine is fine it has been opened up and looks fine I am 60 years old and been playing with bikes since I was 14 or younger as I sed just a bit of fun getting an old bike running that no one else can
Sorry my comment come across harsh I had the same problem with a KLX 650 every man and his dog had messed with it the wiring was like a bloody birds nest! I also started tinkering at an early age didn’t really like school dad was a mechanic I went straight from school into a job in his mates motorcycle shop , good luck with the project
@joski9030 I was never in school my dad was an aircraft fitter in the raf went all around the world from England to Australia to Africa all over the world in really remote places so getting things to start in the middle of nowhere comes as second nature finding old motorbikes in the back of some old bran and getting it going was my schooling so I no where you are coming from and no you speak your mind I like that in a person bikes have been in my family for years my uncles both raced and had a motorbike shop out the back of Canterbury back in the day arter brothers drit bikes and grass track

Your right about the prices skyrocketing…it’s getting very expensive out here…I’m a welder and make good money but still hard to survive…Also I have a Ktm 625cc supermoto I’ll make a video and post it to UA-cam so everyone can check it out…
